I was hesitant this would work. I thought, it’ll get hot in certain spots and not the others, or it won’t heat up at all type of thoughts. Especially after reading some reviews. So I took a chance.I want to leave a very detailed review because that’s what I look for when I want to purchase something and I want to hear every detail.* When I was shampooing I also tried out one of those rechargeable head massagers. Awesome!! Just wanted to make sure my scalp was fully ready for this salon like experience * How long people want this to be it’s pretty damn long for meThe court is pretty darn long. I don’t know how long some expected to be but I could definitely sit on my couch and plug this in and use it. And if you plan on walking in the room, then get an extension cord lol but I was able to pace around a little strip of my patio, and I did not feel like it restricted me at all.The back string to make the bonnet tighter is a little tricky, but I find if I tighten it Before I put it on, it works well. It just slides right over my cap that I put on before. I didn’t clip my hair up because I wasn’t sure if the plastic clips would melt or warp and no metal clips for heat reasons. My hair is about 2-3 inches above mid back so I plopped it on my head. I didn’t care if it fell (didn’t fall) I just wanted all hair in there.I started off right at 8 then I thought I’ll up it the top, level 10. After a few minutes, I soon realized that my ears needed to come out. Makes your ears heat up, so I just kind of flipped them outside the cap and readjusted. They look weird sticking out but it’s better than them getting hot . They didn’t burn or anything just hot and made the tops of em red.Level 10 is not extremely hot. I don’t want it to be extremely hot because then I’ll do damage to my hair and my scalp, etc. so level 10 is a good heat choice if you want deep conditioning and if it cold and you want to sit outside or for people with thick or a lot of hair. . I sit outside to do mine , and it’s winter right now so it’s perfect. When it gets warmer, I probably will turn it anywhere from a 4-8 maybe just depending on the temperature outside.I used a clear shower cap underneath. I may try a foil one next. It heats up perfectly even heat distribution all the way around.I set it for half an hour. I didn’t keep track of the time to see 1/2 an hour would be up to make sure the cap actually worked like it was supposed to. It did shut off automatically. Also, no no.drips out of the cap. Like when the moisture starts seeping out and down your neck and forehead? Nope. Nothing.I waited a bit for it to cool down before I removed the cap. I loosened the back strap and it came off without taking my clear cap. Then I let my hair cool for about 5 minutes so my hair would get to room temperature and the hair follicles will close and seal the deal.I used a regular mask. Any one will do. I rinsed my hair and oh my what is this silkiness? My scalp felt invigorated. It’s like the heat with the mask built a shield.I plan on keeping this as long as it’ll have me and use it at least once a week. Try different masks for fun. Some say it stopped working so I’ll update if this happens. Only used it once to fingers crossed!Anyone who is on the fence I say do it. You can always return it if you don’t like it but I absolutely love this from my long, on the thicker side, thick hair.

Honestly I didn’t find out that you needed a steamer for deep treatments to work properly until a few weeks ago which is why I bought this. To be honest my expectation was that this wouldn’t work well but it worked perfectly and OMG my hair genuinely has never been this soft after a deep treatment. The fact that it’s purple and portable is the best also. You can control how long it goes on and it shuts off on its own. Honestly have no complaints, I’ll edit and update if something changes but for now it’s a 5 star from me!

Love.I returned a cordless bonnet version of this (diff company tho) and bought this one instead. Let me just say, the heat lasts way longer and you can adjust from 30-45-60min timers.I started at level 10 and had to lower to level 6 because it got so hot! It’s easy and simple to use. It looks funny when it’s on, but the quality isn’t bad. It’s insulated with some type of rubbery plastic material and the outside looks like the picture! Also comes with some plastic caps :) and the cord is long enough to move around with, which is a plus. Definitely worth the money and a great recommendation to others with curly hair!

My mom recently bought this for my hair because it is sooo thick and it is a replacement form sitting under a hair dryer for 2 hours. And it works 2x as well is 1/2 the amount of time. It gets hot immediately and is very easy to use. It is great to use because it doesn’t take much time. But I would definitely love if it had a bigger cap for my head and hair to all get heated evenly.

I love it! Very comfortable and easy to store when not in use. Heats up fast and has up to 10 heat settings. I have no ideal what to expect from any setting lower than 7 but I guess one day I will give it a try. I also like the time settings: 30 Minute, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes. I always use 60 minutes because it is so relaxing and I love how soft and manageable my hair feels afterwards. I just wish they would have provided more than just 3 plastic bags with the purchase. I am sure it would not have effected the price. It also comes with a storage bag, which comes in handy for traveling, which I do a lot of. I am happy I purchased it and I hope it last a good while because it doesn't display any type of warranty timeframe. With that being said, my only concern is: I hope the company stays in business, if a need to purchase another should occur. I noticed some companies don't last long....even when they have a good product(s).

I bought this as a gift for my friend, she enjoys the comfort and efficiency of this product.. Heat level is ok, lightweight, durability is good , easy to use, noise level is better than in the salons, smells great .

I honestly wasn’t expecting such a big difference, but I absolutely love this hair steamer cap! It’s super easy to use and heats up really well. I’ve been using it with a deep conditioning mask, and since I started, my curls have become so much more defined. My hair looks healthier, feels softer, and stays moisturized for much longer. If you have curly hair and you’re looking for something to help your deep conditioning treatments work better, I definitely recommend giving this a try. I’m really happy with this purchase!

This is a great steamer, only problem I have is the cap very small if you have a lot of hair. The airflow works great. Sets up in no time; very easy to operate. Again the only problem I have is if you have a lot of hair

First time using the siswow steamer and I love it. It covers my entire head and the pull band makes it fit perfect. The heat distributes evenly throughout my entire head. And the settings are great to control the temperature along with the auto timer.

Excellent product. So much better than my old, ill-fitting and limited steam cap. This has a great range of temperature settings and the shape and drawstring feature ensures even heat. It’s so comfortable and doesn’t burn my ears. It’s perfect for salon type treatments at home. My hair and scalp are very happy.
