Taste ok
Taste ok but being vegetarian i don't like smell like beef with soy sauce it makes complete. First time using oyster not so great.

Best product to bring out the Umami flavour
Good taste ! The brand has replicated the taste of the oyster sauce with soyabeans beautifully. If you have shellfish allergy and wish to find an alternative to the real oyster sauce, Go for this! Word of Caution: Salt and Sugar content is too high in this product. If you have Diabetes, Hypertension or High Cholesterol, you should definitely avoid this.

Great taste
I had mistakenly ordered this thinking it is oyster sauce. But it is only oyster falvored and not really oyster extract. However that was a mistake on my part. BUT, BUT, when i used it in my stir fried chicken for marinating, man o man did it add an awesome flavor!!! Way beyond expectations. I am a nonvegetarian, but to all you vegetarians out there, go for this blindly for all your asian cooking. Too tasty!!!

Surprised at how similar it is to the real thing!
I usually buy lee kum kee oyster sauce but it's been unavailable for sometime, so I decided to take a gamble and bought this one. Even though this is a vegetarian oyster sauce which doesn't have any actual oyster, I was surprised at how well it mimics the actual thing! It has the exact same umami aroma profile as the real thing and is virtually indistinguishable in terms of smell and appearance but it tastes like sweet soy sauce. This sauce is used mostly for the aroma, and it does the job admirably well. The glass bottle also looks really nice. I will definitely recommend it!
