This is an environmentally friendly solution to pest problems around my home without using chemicals. I need it in my garden. There are different ultra sound frequency settings for different animals. I noticed that I couldn’t hear the ultrasound. Some people are known to be more sensitive than others to the high frequencies. Animals are more sensitive than humans. Setting 5 also triggers LED lights that flash to scare animals. I found that the lights flash even at daylight. Deer is not listed among those animals. Flashing lights sometimes can scare some deer except those determined ones. There is one setting for birds too. Some birds like to munch on my grape tomatoes. They need to go. There is a sensitive setting knob as well. I found the solar charging design is very nice. No power supply cord. It goes anywhere with sun. Perfect for a garden. I tried the spike mount and then decided on using the mounting hole to fix it on my deck baluster. Animals have done some real damages to my garden plants. I hope this device will reduce the damages.

My husband purchased this to put next to our Koi pond as we continuously have issues with cats and raccoons trying to fish for our Koi. We have tried a lot of different methods and so far this has been the most successful. You can hear it with the human ear when you walk by it and it senses movement, however its not super loud, but definitely noticeable. We are considering possibly purchasing a few more to place around the pond. I think this is a very good price for something that is effective.

Doesn't work well. Does have lights with motion but emits no sound, thus nothing gets scared off. Would not purchase again.* I am raising this to 3 stars because the seller took the time to send me an email after reading my review. After following the sellers advice I could hear a very faint buzzing (not a beep) My dog doesn't react to this device and so far the ferrel cats that spray and poop haven't noticed either.

I have a garden in my backyard yard in planter boxes. we had rabbit problems with my cabbage, so I got this. My bathroom window overlooks the planter boxes, and I got to witness a squirrel attach my cabbage. As soon as this thing triggered, it stopped and ran away. Not a sprint or anything, but definitely a clear disinterest despite's multiple cabbage and soy plants in the vicinity.

I had vegetable seedlings sprouting that I had planted. They were eaten by some critter. I've seen a Rat in my yard. I turned this on, every day I turned up the setting and something continues to eat my newly sprouted seedlings. I set it about 4 feet from my garden and it still did not keep critters away.

Don’t think it works. Still lost plants after installing.

It worked good for 2 weeks and the it just stopped working!

Works most of the times, haven't had any snakes, rats, or mice come nearby, bunnies still do come by occasionally to nibble on our home garden vegetable. It was for my dad and he says it's good enough and works. So 3 stars it is.
