Bright, healthy clear skin hero!
I just wrote a review for the Sally Cleanse so I'll include a little from that here too.. I love the Skin Nerd and her range Skingredients really is a fabulous brand. She absolutely knows her stuff when it comes to skincare. I love that these products are refillable - saving the environment and also a little less expensive for the purchaser is always a win for me! This AHA cleanse is used about 3times a week in the evening. This cleanser is not designed to remove makeup, so I do that first so that my skin is clear of any makeup and prepped for AHA cleansing. The magic stuff in this cleanser is lactic acid & PHA, both of which work together to brighten, exfoliate, hydrate and plump your skin. The exfoliation is not from gritty beads, but from the lactic acid which will gently (even though its an acid - its kind to the skin!) loosen and sweep away the dead skin cells. What you are left with afterwards is a fresh glowing health complexion. I don't have sensitive skin so this is fine for me to use on its own, but you can mix a little of the AHA with PreProbiotic cleanse for a more gentle cleanse if you are sensitive. For me its a winner, along with using the Sally cleanse I can see a difference in the appearance of my skin. My makeup sits better too. I love and will absolutely get the refills.

Good cleanser will leave skin shiny and hydrated
It's really premium quality cleanser with a lot of good things in it. Such as Lactic acids and Polyhydroxy acid. Where one helps to loosen the dead skin cells and the other helps your skin to be shiny and hydrated. It's really perfect for people who have tired face skin, and want it to be more shiny and hydrated. Using it is very simple just pump it on your hand and massage your skin. And wait for 60 seconds and wash it down. Or you can use it as a micro mask once a week, just leave it for 7 minutes and then wash it down. After using it for a few weeks I feel the change skin feels much better and more hydrated. And looks a bit younger. Although the smell of it could be a bit better. The tube itself can be refilled, just unscrew the top of it and you can change for a refill which is quite good. No need to buy separate bottles all the time. Plus inner tubes are recyclable. Overall good product, costs wise its a bit pricy, but it will last long as you are advised to use it just a few times a week. And using it really small amount of it. So in end, it's really worth it.

Overcomplicated, overpackaged and overpriced
This is sold as a premium product at ยฃ28.99, but although it does its job, I didn't feel it lived up to its promise. There are far cheaper products which do just as good a job and are easier to use. The first thing I noticed was that it was overpackaged. It comes in a plastic pump bottle with a cap, but is contained in a cardboard tube which mimics the appearance of the bottle inside has exactly the same instructions for use. OK, cardboard is recyclable, but why? It makes no sense. The instructions themselves are confusing and actually rather off-putting. Apparently you only use this every 2nd night (why?) and only after "pre-cleansing" (what's that?). You can use it either as a cleanser(leave on 60 seconds) or as a "resurfacing micro-mask" (leave on 7 minutes, and only once a week. To remove it, you're directed to the same manufacturer's "Cleanse Off Mitt", although you can use your hands (I used my hands). After going through all that, myu head was spinning. Eventually I did use it both as a cleanser (using micellar water to pre-cleanse first) and as a mask. Using it was confusing, too. I didn't feel any particular exfoliating effect, despite massaging it in as directed, and although it's advertised as "fragrance free", it actually smells rather mildewy and unpleasant and there's no lathering effect, so you do have to use a fair amount. It cleansed my skin ok, but it didn't feel or look unusually great afterwards - certainly nothing to justify spending nearly thirty quid on a bottle of it. However, my skin did feel quite pleasantly soft and dewy after the 7-minute micro-mask treatment, so that's something. I don;t have sensitive skin but I did worry a bit about the warnings about UV sensitivity due to the lactic acid content. Surely that's the last thing we all need if we're trying to ward off sun damage? To sum up - not bad, but not worth the money.

Not suitable for sensitive skin
This is part of the match and mix range from Skingredients. This is a cleanser you use at night. They say to use it on every 3rd night. Yo can also use it as a Micro Mask and you massage into skin and leave for 7 minutes. It is recommended that you only do this once a week. This is a primary pack so when it runs out you buy the refill. The refill tube is ยฃ25, so not much difference in cost. Skingredients philosophy is part of what they call a Key 4 process for skin that all ages, all genders, and all skin types. The 1st stage is a PreProbiotic Cleanse Hydrating Cleanser which is in a Purple Tube. The 2nd stage is Skin Veg Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum which is in a Lime Green Tube. The 3rd stage is Skin Protein Anti-Ageing Retinoid Serum which is in a Red Tube (this one) The 4th stage is Skin Shield Moisturising and Priming SPF 50 PA+++ which is in an Orange Tube. You can then mix and match for specialised skin and those products are: AHA Cleanse Brightening and Exfoliating Lactic Acid Cleanser which is in a light Blue Tube. Skin Good Fats Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturiser which is in Yellow Tube. Sally Cleanse 2% Salicyclic Acid Oil Control Cleanser which is in a Mid Blue Tube. I will say that i do not know or understand why they feel you need 2 different lots of serum, i would pick the one which suits you the most, for me that would be the 2nd stage as i have mature skin and it has collagen in to help elasticity. I am very impressed with this skincare and feel that despite the huge cost, its worth it because you need so little of it at a time. I used only a pea sized amount and that was all that was needed. Expensive, but damn its worth it.

Gorgeous exfoliating lotion
Skingredients is a new brand to me made in the USA....But I am simply in love with it. For 2 weeks now, I have been using it, at bedtime, 3 times a week to give my face a deep and thorough cleaning from pollution and makeup. Besides, it gently exfoliates my skin, removing the accumulated dead skin, leaving my face bright and tight with no irritation to my sensitive skin. It contains 8% lactic acid and 1% PHA which are both known for their exfoliating effect. The lotion/cleanser is medium thick which lathers very nicely when I massage my face for around one or two minutes then give it a good rinse. I like the fact that it has no scent which is important to me as I suffer from hayfever at this time of the year. It comes in a pump form which works in a concenient way.

Really nice brightening exfoliator
I have tried all of the Skingredients and absolutely love them. Love the fact that all of their products are refillable. This is described as a cleanser but for me, this is more of an exfoliating mask or a treatment because it needs to be used after you have already cleansed your skin every 3rd night or you can leave it for 7 minutes and then remove it once a week. For a more gentle cleanse you can mix it with their PreProbiotic cleanser. This product has earnt itself a permanent place on my bathroom shelf. My skin looks and feels amazing after a couple of days. It makes my skin very smooth and evens out my skin tone.

Not for me
Skingredients AHA Cleanse Brightening + Exfoliating Lactic Acid Cleanser 100ml (Refillable Primary Pack) I'm in my mid 30's, and skincare is v essential for me as it is part of my daily routine, morning and evening; hoping these creams and serums can help me minimise the signs of ageing. Skingredients is a new product for me. I find this brand too gimmicky. This Skingredients AHA Cleanse Brightening + Exfoliating Lactic Acid Cleanser 100ml came in a plastic pump bottle in a cardboard tube, which I found overly packed. The info written on the bottle and the tube are pretty much the same, so for me, it doesn't make sense. Moreover, the writings on the bottle/tube are informative as it has the ingredients list, how to use it, whether to use it AM or PM and skin suitability. And since this is a new product, I had to check its ingredients first and do a patch test before using it. I have combi skin type, so I am careful what to use to prevent breakout and acne invasion. This product can be used as a 2nd cleanser or mask. However, upon checking its ingredients, it seems like it has comedogenic ingredients like Myristyl Myristate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, and Cetearyl Alcohol that are not suitable for my skin type. It is suitable tho for dry skin. Therefore, I won't gamble using this product. There are plenty of options in the market with a better formulation.

Glow
This really does help to give glowing skin. Itโs main aims are to hydrate, brighten and exfoliate and I really do think it helps to achieve this. My skin feels so smooth and looks so much brighter and more youthful. I use this alongside the skingredients 4 piece set, so I would personally recommend using them too to get the best results.
