Amazon Basics Smart Box Spring Bed Base, 9-Inch Mattress Foundation - Twin XL, Tool-Free Easy Assembly

I rated a 3 because the covers are too small, they don’t fit. I ordered two Twin XL box springs, and the cover seems to be for a twin for both. Assembly is super easy, takes 5 minutes.

I like how easy it is to assemble. No tools necessary, just unfold, and screw in the thumbscrew. I prefer mine without the cloth cover on it. Makes it look like a platform bed.Only complaint: The horizontal bars are really thin and spaced far apart. I wish there were less of a gap between each bar, and for the bars to be wider; it’d dig into the mattress a lot less.

I didn't mean to buy this but Amazon's auto response indicated I couldn't return it so I'm stuck with it. It was easy enough for two of us to put together. Based on structure of lightweight materials I'd say it will likely be fine for guest bed rooms or a child who doesn't jump. There was a weight limit posted...200 lbs maybe?

I am very impressed! I bought two in the twin XL size as a base for our king size mattress and I was blown away by how easy the set up was of them. I am not a builder or a DIY kind of person, so I felt very proud and accomplished when I got them together before my husband got home from work.My husband is tall(6') and husky and I am not a string bean and sleeping on our mattress is so enjoyable on this firm solid foundation! 5 STARS WILL ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PROUDUCT again and again!

It loses a star for being a total pain with putting the cover on. It does not fit and it took two of us to figure out how to get it on without ripping. (I purchased the xlt so maybe Amazon didnt care to make the cover larger). My brother has a can do attitude and we were very lucky to make it work.It loses another star because the screws that stick out of it on the end stick out too much preventing it from nestling into the bed frame properly.

My son and I snapped this together very quickly. Easy to assemble, even the cover went on without the normal "this is way too small" comments.
