Great Soft dog food
My 5yr old dog has always had an itching problem since we got him. Tried different foods, creams and shampoos. Pills from the vet. Nothing helped. It got to the point he had open sores on his tummy. Vet said it could even be nerves, and try an antidepressant? Huh? Was told to try this brand by a coworker. Admittedly, this soft dog food looks disgusting, like wtf disgusting. But he ate it and LOVED it. Since switching, his itching has “almost” stopped! His tummy has cleared up, no itching ears! Doesn’t chew on himself until sores form. Most importantly, he reminds me now when it’s his dinner time! My recommendation: if your looking for a soft dog food, get this and don’t pay attention to how it looks. Dogs don’t care as long as long as it tastes good to them! And the ingredients seem to be agreeable to dogs. Hope this helps?

My dog gobbles it!
My dog usually waits to eat his dog food after he checks out what we are eating. Not with this brand of food! He gobbles it. I was buying Weruva before and he wouldn’t eat it til late. Weruva looks and smells better to me but he really prefers Merrick! The ingredients are great and they have a lot of variety.

Good healthy food but the container is not design to reseal
Good deal set my dog been eating it regularly. The only complaint is one he likes more than the other and the cover does not reseal. The container will not works with any cans covers. I have to use plastic wrap but it does not hold up very well. More fit for one meal usage I guess. I mix with kibbles for my dog so he only eat part of it each meal. I do believe the brand use high quality food to made. My dog is very healthy never have problems eating this brand.

Very healthy
Our dog Sarge is a picky eater. Our vet turned us onto Merrick. We give him a 1/4 spoonful of wet food and 1/3 of a cup of dry, now he can't get enough. He eats all his breakfast and dinner in 1 sitting. Also, it is a healthy choice. A bit over priced, but being a Prime Member helps offset the price.
