The ingredients on the can...Salt, dehydrated vegetables (carrot, parsnip, onion, potato, celery, parsley leaves)...monosodium glutamate (flavor inhancer), sugar, cornstarch, black pepper, nutmeg, disodium inosinate (food additive), riboflavin (color)....250 servings per container (serving size 1/2 tsp), 0 calories, total fat 0 g, Sodium 230 mg (10 %), 0 Carbs, 0 Protein Hope this helps!

What is the salt and potassium content please.

On the back of the package, it shows 700 mg of sodium per serving, which is a teaspoon ! 29%!!! It also states not a significant source of saturated, fat, trans fat, cholesterol, dietary, fiber, total sugars, added sugars, vitamin D, calcium, iron, and potassium. Hope this helps!!! Charzy

Great Spice!

Vegeta is more well known in Europe. We were introduced to it by our son’s girlfriend 20 years ago. It adds flavor to many things we cook. The added flavoring may be what they call umami. FYI, There’s nothing HOT Spicy about it.
