Is the C8 knife good for detailed wood carving?

Yes, the C8 is ideal for fine detail work. Its sharp, pointed tip and slightly curved blade allow precise cuts in tight spaces, making it perfect for small elements, decorative patterns, and intricate woodworking projects.

What is special about the knife’s handle material and shape?

The knife has a beautiful, comfortable ash wood handle. It is ergonomically shaped to fit the contours of your hand and treated with linseed oil for durability and a smooth, natural feel.

Does the C8 Detail Knife require any sharpening before use?

No sharpening is needed before first use. The blade comes perfectly sharpened, ready to carve smoothly straight from the package. For best results, strop the knife regularly to maintain its edge between uses.

What material is the blade made from, and how does it perform?

Made from durable 1066 high-carbon steel with a Scandi grind and a 20° bevel, the blade retains its sharp edge longer, offering reliable performance.

How should I store the C15 Detail Knife?

After use, clean and dry the knife thoroughly. Store it in a protective sheath, tool roll, or case to maintain sharpness and avoid accidents. Proper storage extends the tool’s life and keeps it ready for carving sessions.
