The ingredients in Zicam Nasal AllClear are: purified water, hydroxpropryl methylcellulose, disodium phosphate, monosodium phosphate, sodium chloride, succinic acid, glycine, polysorbate 80, menthol, sodium saccharin, eucalyptol, benzalkonium chloride, phenethyl alcohol, eugenol, aloe vera barbadensis gel, sodium hyaluronate

Is it true that zicam nasal products were taken off the market due to causing medical issues? Is this a different product than those ones?

The issue was zinc as an ingredient that could cause loss of smell. I believe that it was taken off the market for a short time and then reformulated. Some have zinc and some do not. I no longer have any on hand to read the ingredient list. I never had issues with it, but if you are concerned I would check the ingredient list prior to purchasing. Hope this helps.

Does this help with cold sores inside the nose?
