I have not used my still yet, but I will soon. I have gathered dead purple nettle to start. You will need a pump, a hot plate and a big tub for water unless you are usung the sink. My herb room has no sink, so my plan is to use it in the potting shed with a tub of nice cold well water., an aquarium pump and a hot plate.

Handsome piece. Looks well crafted. Shows the creativity if the Ukrainians. Received it one month ahead of schedule. Hope it will be safer than a regular glass alembic. And a good yield. Will write about that when i use it

Not disappointed! Very easy to assemble and use, beautiful and slim design. I look forward to upgrading to the larger unit in the future.

Works as advertised. Our issue was our cooktop couldbt get the water to 208F. So we set up the propane burner and it gets to temp within 10min. Just as stated in the videos and documents, in about 30 min you've got the essential oils. We'll made, beautiful, and works. Great craftsmanship and videos.Had bought a cheap glass one which was a waste of time.

Functions well, instructions are easy to follow, have been able to distill lavender crop easily. Only issue is the connection of the tubing to the distiller becomes loose after just one use, requiring a couple of tightening screws, which were a few dollars for both at Home Depot. I used the smallest available tightening screws to secure the tubing onto the distiller and tightened them with a regular screwdriver.

I got this to make homemade essential oils and it has been amazing also the hydrosol water from the oils is amazing as a face mist/toner. It has been a game changer to not have to buy oils. I've even made lemon peel and orange peel oil which is awesome in cleaners amd laundry soaps

I love the quality of the distiller and how polished it is. This is a really beautiful distiller. Came perfectly packed, completely covered/protected surfaces. We have been in communication the whole time. Awesome customer service. Can't wait to start using it! Thank you, Guys!

The craftsmanship was amazing. The instructions on how to use, however, a little unclear. It really assumes you already know how to set it all up.I had to dig around and find YouTube videos on how to set it up and quickly realized that I was missing the key piece of the equation… there is no pump to push water through the condenser and back again. It was not made clear anywhere…Basically you will be spending money on a beautifully crafted copper appliance (maybe a little overpriced… but it includes shipping…)Changes I wish were made to this item is that the wooden handles are an issue if you are using a gas flame… and the oil collection vessel was way too short for the height of the distiller (which is strange because in all the videos it shows this kit coming with a taller one??? We just propped ours up on an upturned metal bowl that could handle being by a flame)It does work pretty well whether you are making hydrosol or essential oil… but buyer beware that you cannot operate with what you receive. You must buy a pump and water vessel.Really that is why I gave it 4 starsThat being said… they did include about a lb of dried Rosemary for free!
