POW...right in the kisser!
SUPER STAR ABILITY: You may drop 3 Coins to use the Super Star Ability of any other Character on the board.POWER-UP BOOST: (POW) All other players drop 1 Coin. You may advance to the space directly behind the next player on the board. Follow the rules of that space.Boo is a VERY powerful character in Monopoly Gamer, especially when playing against multiple characters with strong Super Star Abilities (e.g., Yoshi, Princess, Rosalina, Tanooki, etc.). Boo can pay 3 coins and use the Super Star Ability of any other Character on the board. Paying 3 coins is a mild negative, true, but the key benefit is being able to CHOOSE which character's Super Star Ability to mimic, depending on which is most profitable. On the other hand, Boo's Super Star Ability is not well suited for 2 player games, because in that case, you won't have any other character's Super Star Ability to mimic. You'd only be able to copy your opponent's Super Star Ability, but at a cost of 3 coins, leaving you disadvantaged. So, the more opponents you're facing, the better Boo's Super Star Ability becomes, because you have more options to choose from. The real winner though...is the POW Power-up Boost: you may advance to the space directly behind the next player on the board. This immediately gives you options, because you can move (according to the numbered die) BEFORE OR AFTER you initiate the POW. Also keep in mind, you are picking up all the coins between you and the next player as you advance to the space behind them. In some cases, you could be sweeping up coins around the entire board (e.g., if the next player is actually right behind you).Imagine a turn like this:You roll a 2 + POW. The player in front of you is sitting between 2 unowned properties. You initiate the POW Power-up Boost and advance to the first unowned property (i.e., the space behind the player in front of you). You buy it. THEN you move 2, according to the numbered die, and land on the second unowned property. You just bought a complete property set AND collected untold number of coins (at least 1 from your POW'ed opponent) along the way. Sure, this exact scenario is rare and contrived, but the point is, Boo's POW creates some surprisingly profitable outcomes. It can also get you out of some sticky situations, e.g., avoiding high-rent already-owned properties. In my experience, Boo's Power-up Die boost is as good as--if not better than--his Super Star Ability.Bottom line: If I could only buy one Monopoly Gamer Power Pack character...it would be Boo.

Perfect gift to complete the husband's Special Edition collection
Perfect gift to complete the husband's Special Edition collection. This game is absolutely awesome! Fun to play and great to play with kids since the property values remain rather small, and the big win comes from defeating the bosses. Not too long and very engaging.

I think they're a little pricey for what they are; however, the kids love them. Every time we play my boy uses the Boo.
