Works well but the lid could have been more tight so as to not keep the person always watchful of dropping the loose lid.

After using 2 months it was not working well.. initially it was grinding well the peppers into somewhat powder like consistency..after using for 2 months only now it's not grinding at all..it's only cutting one pepper kernel into two halves..very disappointing...all that money was a waste.

Great value for the price. I have used this every day for over a year, and no major issues so far. I like that you can adjust the grind size with the little knob inside. Very easy to refill, and stays airtight enough that the peppercorns still feel fresh after many months. The only issue I would run into is that sometimes, after a lot of use, the coarseness adjusted inside would slide a little too big, and I would have to manually adjust it down to a finer grind. But this only happens once in a while. Overall, found it a great way to add freshly-ground pepper to my cooking!

I know this is just a pepper grinder, but when our current one gave up the ghost, I found it strangely difficult to just find a good replacement. Options were either super-expensive, strange, electric powered, or just not appealing. I couldn't just find a good all-rounder pepper grinder at a good price, until I came across this one. It's nice (stainless steel, ceramic, glass), and it's just the right size. It loads the peppercorn easier than our existing grinder, and it has a nice cap to boot. All what I was looking for, and a really decent price. It's a winner! PS, it works well, too... grinds nice fine pepper into our dishes.

"You want to grind pepper?!" "I think I'm entitled to ground pepper..." "You can't handle the peppercorns!!" It was OK while it lasted, but plastic holding the mechanism with the adjustment for how coarse or fine the pepper is ground broke after a few years. I have never heard of a pepper mill breaking before, but I guess it is a thing. Oh, well.

I wasn't expecting much after reading some of the other reviews, so I'm pleasantly surprised to find it to be ideal for my use. It's a cinch to adjust the grind, the cap stays in, it's easy to refill, and it fits comfortably in my hand. The glass is even and clear. I have tried the grinder on fine and medium setting and have no complaints. It's attractive enough for the table and overall a good bargain product. UPDATE: I bought another for use with Himalayan salt crystals. It's really pretty when filled. I get quite a bit of resistance if I try to set it on the smallest grind. The grind is so small it's more like salt powder, so I adjusted up and it is sonce again effortless.
