Kindle Paperwhite Case Cover SmartShell Holding Case for Kindle Paperwhite Fits All Paperwhite Generations Prior to 2018 (Not Fit All Paperwhite 10th Gen) Purple

This fits my Kindle Paperwhite from 2014 perfectly. It was not difficult to insert my Kindle and it's nice and snug. Overall, this cover with my Kindle is a little thinner and lighter than the cover I replaced. The hand strap is centered so it works well with either hand. It's very comfortable to hold. I like the magnetic closure that automatically powers the Kindle on and off. My other cover didn't do that.

It's a bit industrial in appearance but the bright green makes it better. very stiff & sturdy, fits nicely on the device. the handhold is useful but the configuration is not quite perfectly convenient for long-term holding, though I find it hard to imagine how to make it better - two straps? diagonal? even wider? it's okay as it is, better than other cases I've had.

I love this cover because it has the slot where I can put my hand. This really helps my carpal tunnel. However what I don’t like is I wish there was a magnet so when you’re reading the book the cover is held against the other side.

I've a 2016 Kindle Paperwhite. This upgraded version of the 'ISeeSee' cover fits perfectly and performs with no glitches. When closed, the cover places the device into sleep mode; and opened, the device comes back to life from sleep. I bought this cover for strap feature. I sometimes find a comfortable hand-hold is a bit tricky to find, usually when I'm reading in bed. I didn't realize would be so comfortable to use when sitting a chair and reading. The center placement (re inside of front cover) of the strap makes for a secure left or right hand-hold; also, placing the strap in the center means the weight distribution is pretty much centered when using the strap. I've had similar covers for other e-readers where the strap was closer to the cover's spine, and my Kindle would kind of slip downward. The center strap enables me to hold the strap and the spine, eliminating that issue. I've had the cover only a matter of hours, if this holds up and continues to perform as new, it's the best strapped cover I've used on my e-readers. The frame holds my 2016 device securely and the cover's external material (a polymer that feels like vinyl) has a pattern that makes it easy to hold, i.e,, it won't slip out of your hand(s); and the interior feels good, like a cross between felt and faux suede.

Super high quality case that seems made to last! I was looking for something to make my Kindle easier to handle with one hand, and this case was the solution I was looking for. It took a little figuring out how I prefer to position my fingers while using it at first, but I quickly figured it out. The one thing that would be nice is if it had some way to stay open by attracting to the back somehow. Definitely not something thats extremely missed, but nonetheless, something that would have been a nice feature.

This is a nice looking cover. But it does not stay closed. Either the magnet is too weak or the strap is too bulky. I’m sending it back, as I want my device to shut off when the cover is closed and it does not do that with this front cover that doesn’t lay flat.

Pros: - Looks great - Protects the kindle all the way around - The magnet works to sleep/wake the Kindle - Light weight Cons - The strap, though better than holding the Kindle on its own, still fatigues my hand after 45 min or so. - The strap is very tight. - The inside material is a soft, felt-like material that I have already pulled some threads out. - The small magnet is not secured very well. It very quickly became loose and so I have to be very careful in opening the cover lest I pull the magnet out. - DON'T CARRY THIS IN YOUR POCKET! If the cover is jostled it moves against the magnet and repeatedly wakes and sleeps the Kindle repeatedly and so the battery drains VERY FAST. If you don't jostled the cover then battery performance is unaffected. Overall it is an OK case that works decently enough for my needs

Seems to be quality but the problem is the hand strap keeps it from turning off as it doesn't close completely.
