Best udon I’ve tried yet on amazon
I thoroughly enjoy these udon bowls. They seem decently priced for the 6 bowls you get, when comparing it to other prices on Amazon. If I could change one thing. It would be the consistency of the noodles. Obviously it’s not fresh, but some of the Bowls (and I’ve ordered these for months every once in a while when I get the craving while in my tiny town) seem to have more dry noodles after cooking than others. It’s simple to make, easy directions to follow, and filling. Flavor is great. I usually cook the noodles in already hot water, for 2:30mins, let it sit while stirring to break up the noodles and let them soak in the broth, then add the veggies and flavor mixes, and stir for another minute or two to let them rehydrate.

Great ramen
The ramen is better than most you'll find. The only limiting factor is the price, but it's worth it in my opinion.

Weird Taste
Noodles have a small but noticeable plasticy, chemical taste.

Good flavor
The flavor of this udon noodle soup is good. Much better than ramen noodle packs (though obviously not as good as fresh noodles). They are easy to cook in the microwave. The issue I have is that the noodles are all vaccu-sealed together, so they stick to each other in one big clump that is very difficult to get apart. It takes a lot of poking and prodding to get the noodles to separate. Other than that, a bowl of this noodle soup makes a tasty lunch (or dinner if you add some dumplings or protein). It does contain a lot of salt, as well as MSG, and many types of fish. Not the healthiest option, but it is pescetarian and that's a plus.

Wow
I typically go with Japanese udon bowls, so I wasn't sure what a Korean brand would be like. Surprisingly, it is fantastic. The udon noodles, which are the soft and not fried sort, are the best I have had in a shelf-stable bowl. They are bouncy and taste almost like fresh. The fish based soup base has a good mix of umami, salt, and briney flavors without being overpowering. Separate packs of bonito and vegetables are added after cooking, which keeps their texture right. I added a couple onsen style eggs, which soaked up the broth. While not cheap, I would say these are worth it and I will be watching for deals on more.

Excellent for What It Is
This is a good balance between quality and price. It's basically like all reconstitutable noodle soups. And it has prodigious amounts of salt. But it's really tasty.Date night meal for professional musicians without day jobs.
