Customer Service has been excellant!!
This is the second Pipopa Pool Pump I have purchased. The first was over a year ago and it quit shortly after it was installed. Pipopa immediately sent a replacement and asked that I return the original for engineering to examine to find the failure point. The replacement is a 2 1/2 HP dual speed pump that I am very pleased with and still running like a champ. It is quiet and just the right power to keep my large salt water pool clean and fresh. I purchased the second pump, a 2 HP dual voltage pump, for my father's house and have had two fittings break at the top pump housing between the threads. Again I contacted Pipopa Customer Service through Amazon and they were quick to respond sending 2 replacement fittings and assurance that their engineers would look at the breaks to see if the fitting design could be improved. These pumps are not terribly expensive and are a great value for the money. The fact that their customer service is so responsive is very refreshing and certainly an added value for the money. I would recommend these items to friends and family alike. Thank you Pipopa for your willingness to exceed my expectations.

WATER LEAKING IN 7 MONTHS!!!
BUYING THIS BRAND IS A CRAP SHOOT! FIRST PUMP SHORTED OUT UPON CONNECTION SO WAS RETURNED FOR A REPLACEMENT. THE 2ND PUMP WORKED FOR 7.5 MONTHS AND IS NOW LEAKING WATER ALL OVER THE GROUND WHEN ON. THIS PUMP WAS USED SPARINGLY AS IT IS ONLY FOR THE WATER JETS IN MY JACUZZI. WOULD ONLY RUN IT A 2-3 TIMES A WEEK FOR 5-10 MINUTES JUST TO RUN IT. I HAVE THE SAME BRAND PUMP FOR MY WATERFALL AND SO FAR THAT HAS NOT HAD ANY ISSUES IN 1.5 YEARS. KNOCK ON WOOD!!! PRICE IS GOOD, JUST DON'T KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL LAST

Just replace my other pool pump and got an extra just in case
I replaced my waterfall pump a year ago and now my main pump died. Replaced it in less than 2 hours including having to rerun PVC. The pool company wants like 1500 a pop...I got the 4 year amazon warranty with these which is better than the name brand. Now both pumps are identical and should be plug and play.

Pumps pool water... 3000 gallons of salt water into the yard
Yup. Pumps water... just ok. This is advertised as a 2HP pump. I had a failing 1 HP 220V Pentair that I was seeking a cheap replacement for. After going though 2 Pentairs in about 15 years, I wasnt going to give that company another $1k for an product with some inferior design issues. I decided I would buy a cheap pump and expect inferior design issues... That is what I got, but I expected a couple things that this pump just didn't deliver on. I expected that the 2HP pump would push enough water to pull around my suction cleaner... it did not. The biggest design flaw that prevented this is the 1.5" output ports. Yes, the description leads you to believe that it has 2" ports... nope. It has 2 inch adapters. Flow is severely restricted in a 1.5 to 2 inch adapter. While the pump moved water through the pool the restriction in the adapters is likely what prevented my pool cleaner from reaching end to end. Pump pressure was less than half of the outgoing 1HP Pentair. And about these adapters... they are absolute garbage, cheap plastic, not PVC. I believe they may have been 3d printed. They have a flaw in their design that leads to a very thin section, where it needs to be thickest. What happened. I got the pump hooked took a gradual prime and pumping water and leak checked it. All looked good after about an hour test. I turned the pump off and switched back over to the timer which runs early in the morning. It would seem that with the pump already primed, the pressure jolt of the start up sheared the output adapter causing a continuous drain of salty water over the pump housing and into the yard until it lost suction with about 2 feet of water lost. GREAT! GRAND! I didn't give up yet...I did a little reengineering of the 2" unions by getting a 1.5 PVC (yes real PVC) adapter and routed out the collar of the 2" side of the union that came with the pool pump. PVC glued the new and old piece together which looked like it was going to work, but while tightening the new and improved output union, I managed torque enough that it sheared the input union. Now 3 days in, I rebuilt the input union as the output union and was up and operating. I used the pump for 2.5 weeks until I had the time to switch out to a 3rd pump, which was about $70 more and included quality 2" unions, with a native 2" pump head. I suspect that any of the Chinese pumps on this site that have this same pump head design have the 1.5-2.0" head flaw outlined above. I had considered keeping this pump as cheap back up because it did manage to circulate water and keep my chlorine generator working for 2+ weeks, but knowing that the motor likely ingested unknown quantities of salt water due to the faulty unions provided, I suspect some life was reduced.... but it does pump water.

No flow pressure for heat pump to stay on
Pump was okay for a few weeks. Now it has no flow and does not turn on heat pump. Not sure what to do next call manufacturer. Have ingrown pool. Pum phass no flow pressure to keep the heater on.

Didn't last 2 days
Didn't understand a motor with 2 different inputs on the same terminals. I previous motor was 220V so I used it on the 220 side. Also didn't like not having a off to the switch. Ran for a while and shut down, few minutes later it would start up and shut down. Got very hot as well.
