Better than deep woods off even on humans!!!
Soooooo much better than any other product on the market! First off know that cats get pissed when ya spray them with this but even if u get them just once it works! I live in ga and we got no serums and they have parties on the stray ferals. Well I got some to spray them some I only got once some got really mad, some are currently sitting in the yard watching me so as to make sure I don't do it again. But I will! Bc it works! My happy self decided to try it while weed wacking bc no matter what I do the flies won't leave me alone! Well this worked amazingly and I mean not one fly got near me, no no seeums and no mosquitoes woot woot I cannot begin to explain how happy I am! Also shipping was fast!!!!

Works well, product often damaged
Product works well to repel flies and other insects. The only issue is that, like others have mentioned in their reviews, Sometimes the product arrives damaged. I had to get a replacement sent because the first one had a broken spray tip and was leaking. It is a very small bottle so it's a bit expensive but might be worth it for your pet's peace from bugs. It doesn't smell bad, and works well.

The flies started attacking my dogs ears pretty badly (I have a pitbull
I have used the ointment in the past but I wanted to try the spray as well. I have mixed feelings, not because it isn't effective, because it is, but because it is so expensive for such a small bottle. In the area that my dog loves to play in there are a lot of flies. I have tried addressing this problem by many means, but have been unsuccessful so far. The flies started attacking my dogs ears pretty badly (I have a pitbull, but with un-cropped ears). Once I received the spray I sprayed my dog liberally. For the head and ears I sprayed on my hands and rubbed and applied on thos areas. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my dog alone, or if all dogs react this way, but my dog freaked out with the spray! She ran, and she acted as if I were attacking her with a chainsaw or something, lol. To this day, when I come at her with the spray she runs like the wind. You can literally see the flies just fly by away from the sprayed area where before they would land and disturb my dog. However, the spray only lasts about a day on my dog. I have to reapply daily, and seeing as it is a small bottle, I would have to buy another bottle in less than a couple of weeks. Needless to say, that is something i'd rather not do. So, I went back to get the original remedy and bought the oinment. Placed it in the affected areas, and it worked just as well. I always hated the ointment because it is so messy, but I'd much rather deal with the messiness than spend so much money on the spray every week or two.

Works great but bottle is tiny
Works great for 2 days then you need to reapply. The bottle is so small you'll finish it in a week.

Works but poor packaging
I would have given this item 4 or maybe even 5 stars because it's effective and helps keep flies off our pets, especially during the hot months. However, when I received the item, I purchased 2. The packaging was good, but when I opened the plastic wrap around the bottles, the solution was everywhere. Disappointed that I didn't get a full bottle in either of the 2. So to summarize: Product is effective, will probably buy again because it does work, but annoyed that it came leaking all over. Not sure how long the product will last now.

Caused our dog redness, itching, scratching - beware
Turns out our dog stomach and chest area is sensitive to this spray (it was the only area we applied for biting flys. Her stomach and chest turned red and would scratch all the time. From google gemini: Your suspicion is highly likely. Pyrethrins and piperonyl butoxide are known to cause localized skin reactions in sensitive dogs, a condition often referred to as pyrethroid paresthesia or contact dermatitis. Because the skin on a dog's stomach and chest is thinner and has less fur coverage, it is especially vulnerable to this type of chemical irritation. The product can trigger an intense "pins and needles" or burning sensation, leading to the redness and frantic scratching you are seeing. Here is what you should do right now to help your dog: 1. Wash the Product Off Immediately To stop the reaction, you need to remove the chemical residue from her skin. Use a mild dish soap (like Dawn): Standard dog shampoos are often too gentle to break down the oils and petroleum distillates used as carriers in pest sprays. Dish soap will effectively strip the product away. Use lukewarm water: Avoid hot water, which dilates blood vessels and can worsen inflammation and itching. Rinse thoroughly: Make sure every trace of soap is completely washed off her chest and stomach. 2. Provide Quick Soothing Relief Once her skin is clean and completely dry, you can try to calm the irritation: Vitamin E: If the skin is intact (not raw or bleeding), snip open a vitamin E capsule and gently rub the oil directly onto the red areas. This is a highly effective trick for neutralizing the "tingling" nerve sensations caused by pyrethrins. Cold Compress: A clean washcloth soaked in ice-cold water pressed against her stomach can help reduce the immediate burning and redness.

It works
My wife and I have used this product on our dogs primarily and have found it to be highly successful against horse flies deer flies and those damn black biting flies. May not work for everything but certainly surrendering your animal to the flying insects.
