The outer layer of the cooler is a water resistant 1680D Polyester, a higher threaded polyester with a greater fabric strength than 600D polyester commonly found in backpacks. The insulation is a high density, a 1.27 cm (0.5 in) thick, closed cell foam which is thicker than most coolers. The inner TPU lining, is inspected for quality by Korea Apparel Testing & Research Institute (KATRI), for oil and grease repulsion. In sum, these quality features ensure the gCooler is built to last.
