There are dozens of versions of this product available on Amazon, and frankly I was expecting something cheap and flimsy that just needed to show up in the background of my video show. However, this on-air sign was very colorful and had the appearance of something much more expensive. I love the fact that I can recharge it with USB and that it can be switched on and off manually when I'm recording the show, with no plugs or cables showing. Lastly, I had expected to see the bright spots of two bulbs behind the red and white plexiglass screen, but the LEDs they used made it very bright and the light diffused evenly over the whole surface. Corded or battery. It works. I like the battery operation because you can set it in back of you without any wires showing. Its light weight because its cheap but so is the price. Looks good from a distance on video and thats what matters. Any other lights like this cost at the very least double and much more.

I got this sign for somebody I know who live streams video games. Did you know that people live stream themselves playing video games on the internet? And other people actually sit and watch this? I never even liked watching my friends play video games while I waited for my turn. How can people sit and watch someone else play knowing that they'll never get a turn at all? How boring are these people's lives that they have nothing better to do with their time? I heard some of them even pay money to the streamers. Clown world. Anyway, the sign is nice and bright, and now his mom won't walk in while he's in the middle of racking up 50,000 points on Double Dragon or whatever.

My husband works from home in an open space office. Both my son and I have the tendency to walk up to him while he is focusing and break his concentration often leaving anyone involved feeling a moment of frustration. However, since we have put up the ON AIR sign, he clicks it on and both my son and I know that he is focused, and if we are to break his focus, it better be for something good and not just a "do you know where the (insert object) is" or "I'm bored, entertain me" moment. It has reduced stress from all sides and it's a lot more fun to have on the desk instead of a "Do Not Disturb" sign or the frustrated sigh from the husband. It's honestly a great purchase and I would recommend it for those who work from home or honestly anyone who needs to stay focused.

The first one I purchased the switch wasn't working properly and the light would flash even when we swapped out the batteries. When I contacted the amazon they immediately sent out a new one and I returned the old one. The new one seems to be working much better without any issues.

So I bought this for when I work from the home office (yep, I really have a true home office). When I'm on calls, I light it up and my wife sees that I'm on a call. She stays quiet and goes upstairs. So, I learned, as soon as she walks in, turn on the light and I get quiet time at work. She hasn't caught on that I'm not always on a call yet. She might eventually, but it's so worth the few dollars I spent.

This device is perfect for a simple indicator of when you are on air. This lets my family know if I'm on a work call or recording/streaming. The contrast is much better in person than the videos and pictures. I hooked mine up to a wifi wall plug so I can turn it on/off with Google assistant. I mounted mine with a couple of basic screws I had laying around and ran a USB-c cord for power.

Great
