UPDATED Review: After only a few months after purchasing my second one, the white wooden part fell off into my hand leaving just a chain to try to find and pull. Very disappointed.My original review: I bought 2 of these spaced a few years apart. I bought to replace the strings that attach to the florescent lights in my closets and found the strings are hard to find in the dark and/or are flimsy and break. This has a nice heavy feel to it and is easy to find in a dark closet. It has a solid feel to it and turns light on and off without fear that the chain will will break. I would buy again if needed.

Repeat purchase. Couldn’t find it at the home improvement retailer where I made original purchase. Glad I was able to find it online. Quality product. Looks good.

Westinghouse 77072 12-Inch Wood Pull Chain--one nice white ball on 12 in. chain. I neglected to notice the bright brass chain color and it doesn't match my fan chain. But I like it anyway.

I added the pull switch to a 4 foot fluorescent fixture, retrofitted with LED. Seems a bit overpriced for what it is though.

Works as promised. Helped me finally know which pull is the light, and which is the fan. I put the light pull on two ceiling fans, and a decorative pull for the fan switch. Makes life easier. No more turning down the fan when what I wanted to do was turn on the light.

Easy to grab hold of, and long enough so I no longer need to stand on tip toes to turn ceiling fan on.

Matches perfectly with my gold/white wooden ceiling light/fan.

This was just perfect for my needs.

Works as expected

Looks good but did not last long in humid conditions.
