Scent is top notch

Before I bought this I was looking like CRAZY on reviews everywhere then I thought just do it! Screw it. OMG it smells so good. Rosey, floral, powdery vanilla is best as I can describe it off the back. Soft though! Not overbearing. Comes with a small tester vile of the white musk in the pouch as well to layer it. The white musk is a very soft vanilla & they compliment each other very well! Comes with a card info instructions etc. But what I noticed is it works (stays MUCH longer) when you DONT RUB IT into your skin. I applied it at noon, it's 7pm and the spot I put on when i rubbed my wrists (before I knew) faded, but I caught myself & thought don't rub it, so every other place I put the oil on is still going strong. Does not take much either to smell this! Lol.. probably why the bottle size is an appropriate amount. But I'm going to buy more of the white musk to layer it. It's actually meant as a base for perfume sprays it says, but these oils ALONE works just fine with me!

The smell is strong so u dont have to put much on or it will be overwhelming for ppl sensitive to smell, its not as pink as its shown in the ads, its a very expensive and calming scent with a honey after smell that i love so much. Ive gotten sm compliments from this and it was just a blind buy. Comes with a small samplle of the white one to layer them and they compliment each other well. Def will buy again

They changed the formula and the bottle. It's thinner and barely smells like anything. It does NOT smell like the pink musk I've ordered before from this company on Amazon. I'm getting real tired of the inconsistency of things. Now I'm on the hunt for a new spring/summer fragrance with little time to find it.

Listen, I just received it. I was a little upset because the sample that came with it was broken and leaked, but the original bottle was fine. After putting it on, I forgot about the whole thing. Smells wonderful. A little goes along the way. Now I definitely want to try the other scent, but for now, I give this a 10/10. I feel like I am an Arabian princess with this scent on. If you like musk, oud, and bakhoor, then this is a little combination mixed with a touch of softness for you. I don’t know; I always had a thing for Arabian fragrances.

I've been delving into the mysterious world of Arabian fragrances for the past few months. At the time I had purchased three different parfums prior to this one but after reading the notes of this one, I knew that Maison d'Orient Pink Musk was a must have! It's quite a small bottle, but I already knew that I was purchasing an oil.. which generally comes in smaller crafted batches. The consistency is unbelievably creamy and luxurious, it is not comparable to a baby oil in any way.. much more lux and is creamy pale pink in color. The application is with a wand, which is nice especially when applying to the "pulse points". It does take several moments to dry down as you certainly would not want to smear this on your body. I let it sit for a few moments and lightly pat it into my skin as not to disturb it's fragrance properties. The fragrance itself is quite intense at first, then when it settles it becomes softer. It really is a beautiful scent, and I personally LOVE a strong scent that carries with me. Unfortunately, this is where the 3 stars come in and that's because after maybe an hour&half I can barely smell it. Really quite disappointing. However, if you happen to lightly drag the wand across your clothing, the smell lasts a bit longer. Its not what I was hoping for, lasting power is very important to me regardless of price point. Ugh .. this is such a nice musky scent and am bummed about it. BUT with my order they kindly sent a very tiny sample of their White Musk, which is just as luxurious and creamy as the pink, just White - the scent of the White Musk is gorgeous, creamy, luxurious and in my opinion, better than the pink and lasts a few hours on the skin. So of course I will purchase the White Musk and will continue to use the Pink Musk as my after shower cozy evening fragrance. The White Musk is where it's at!!

Omg.. I have been ripping my hair out searching for this exact attar oil scent ever since I ended my trip from Istanbul, Turkey. I rarely leave reviews, but I just had to leave one for this fragrance- the pink musk smells so beautifully good!! I can instantly smell the jasmine in it along with mixes of what might be the vanilla. It’s long lasting, so applying a little bit does go a long way. They gave me two samples: the musk tahara and another sample labeled “Mystique". The musk tahara had a more powdery and vanilla scent than jasmine, however this fragrance also took my breath away 😍 Definitely try the pink musk!!

The most aromatic musk you will ever wear. Light and not too oily. Very longlasting. Excellent texture. Good value for the money. Perfect for gift giving.

J’ai vraiment adoré ce parfum, il sent très bon et tient bien sur la peau. L’odeur est douce, élégante et agréable toute la journée. J’ai aussi beaucoup aimé tous les échantillons reçus, c’était une très belle surprise ! Ils m’ont permis de découvrir d’autres senteurs que j’ai également appréciées. J’aimerais savoir comment je peux me procurer ces échantillons à nouveau, car ils donnent vraiment envie d’acheter d’autres produits. Je recommande sans hésiter !

I didn't like it but Im sure its a good smell for other people, it just smelled like old lady to me

I opened the bottle to get a little whiff of the scent, but upon doing do a glob of the perfume oil dripped off the stopper and as a reaction I wiped it off the side with my hand and them panicked and wiped my hands on my pants. I then realsied the smell is POTENT and definitely a granny scent in my opinion so I tried to wash the smell off my hands. I used dish soap and it didn't work I still smelled like a lil granny, so I used Detol and the smells combined created the exact aroma of the old folks home my gramma went to. Long story short the smell is definitely strong, and I'm sure if you used jusy a tiny bit it would be pleasant but I had a pretty tragic first experience. 9 out of 10 grannies would love this perfume.

I absolutely love these oils. Highly recommend them! Pink musk is my favourite for life. So feminine and pretty. It layers well with so many of my perfumes. The company has fast shipping and always makes you feel special by including samples! It’s so kind and appreciated. One of mine broke in shipping but I don’t mind at all, it the thought that counts.
