Works fine!
The item seems to work just fine. I plugged it into the cleaning & Charging base and it seems to work. I have not had it long though, so I cannot comment on the life of the product.

False advertising
They are lying. This charger will not charge a Braun 5517 trimmer. 8 hours charged- dies in 30 seconds. Youโll know itโs the wrong charger when your flashing green light is very faint instead of bright. This is the second one Iโve sent back. Why are they lying about it???

Works great
Now that I've bought the replacement charger, I suspect I'll find the original charger in some drawer somewhere. Works fine.

12V Power Cord for Braun Series 7 9 3 5 1 XT5 Electric Razor. Fits and charges well.
My product review for the CGGXJP 12V Power Cord for Braun Series 7 9 3 5 1 XT5 Electric Razor on Amazon.com. The CGGXJP brand's 12V Power Cord for Braun Series 7 9 3 5 1 XT5 Electric Razor is an affordable option for anyone looking for a replacement power cord for their Braun electric razor. The cord is well made ad is compatible with a wide range of Braun models. It is also very affordable, making it a great value for the price. Pros: North American polarized plug Compatible with a wide range of Braun models (see the product page for a current and complete compatibility listing Reinforced plug helps relieve cord stress and reduces chances of cracking or exposes wires Affordable Cons: No included instructions US electrical certification is not apparent. Would I recommend it? Yes, I recommend it for it's value and performance. It fits and performs as well as the original charger. A product of China. A good value when offered at about $9 at the time of our review.
