This heat gun is more than I expected. It comes with several difuser-type attachments that change the flow of the heat. It also has a dual setting for Low or High heat as well as a dial to fine tune it. It's light weight like most heat guns and it's really easy to use. Always exercise caution and wear protective eye gear and clothing and follow all of the manufacturer's recommendations because this tool can produce an incredible amount of heat in a very short time. It works very well and was a good price. I would buy this tool again if need be.

I had to buy a new one since my HF&T one broke from 1990s. The one I bought died 6 months in so I had to buy yet another one. Which landed me here. Things I love The temperature actually has a range. It’s just not cold and then burn the house down. The attachments are great The build feels solid It’s not to heavy in one hand It gets super hot On high heat the nozzle metal isn’t oxidizing like the other one It doesn’t over heat like the previous one The stand alone feature is nice and sturdy when in use. It doesn’t tip over as easily. Things I dislike The cord is short The dial is hard to read if you are older or have vision problems. I had to label it so I can see. My advice is to by the lcd display version if this is important. The trigger on the handle … I absolutely despise its location. Like hate hate hate! I keep switching it to high by accident. It flips to setting two with the slightest touch and is in a location where I constantly hit it. I wish there was more resistance in the switch or a different location. If it dies I will update with customer service response and action. Overall I would recommend this brand. Nov Update: had to reach out to customer service, and let me tell you it was a very pleasant experience. My gun had malfunctioned and they didn’t even second guess anything. Sent me a replacement and fast! I had the old one boxed up ready to ship back, pictures, video, all that jazz ready to send them and didn’t need it. I definitely would recommend them don’t care where the on off switch is now.

Great heat gun. Works as described. The only thing I would say is the dial is too easy to turn. If you are having to place it down a lot in between heating then set it on it's side with the nosil not touching anything it can burn. When you stand it on it's back ( Where the heat dial is, which is also the most convenient.) and pick it back up, it's very easy to accidentally change the temp of the air. I was removing graphics from a dirtbike and found a couple times the dial changed and made the air so hot that it melted the graphics off. Maybe tighten up the heat dial on the back a bit? Other than that very minor issue it's a great heat gun.

I was recently noticing some clear coat burning on the hood of my car, so I decided to give it a vinyl covering. I used this gun to help get the vinyl stretch and form around some of the harder shapes on my hood scoop. It worked perfectly and produced a fairly quick blast of heat to help make the product more pliable. My next adventure will be using shrink wrap soldering sleeves, and I have no doubt this product will do well here. The product came with several attachments, but I haven't had a need for those yet. The temperature adjustment gauge seems to be easy to use, but I honestly haven't had a need to use the higher temperatures yet, but if you need it for electrical and vinyl, it works very well.

I don't ever write reviews as I'm not interested and too busy to endorse most cheap chinese tools. This time I will make an exception. My old harbor freight heat gun finally gave up the ghost and it was time for another. I first ordered the "American based business" labeled RED heat gun. After receiving and trying to use it, I found that the RED heat gun was poorly made with a faulty control dial. Also it was labeled with a micro printed label indicating "made in china." Hmmmm.......... but the RED heat gun was twice as expensive as the Gogonova which is openly labeled chinese made heat gun. What a joke! The replacement Gogonova heat gun is super solid, performs well and more than fits the bill for half the money. Definitely worth it.
