Excellent, highly recommend!
Bought this to do one of the sections our very large gardens, we have 4 sections. We have a big Landroid who has been doing 3 sections for two years, we were about to remove kerbs, cut lines through the driveway & run the wire around the 4th section but got lazy & decided to give this a shot for the 4th section... it would also be a backup if the Landroid failed. We have exclusively used the Lawnmaster for months now on all sections of garden, one at a time... the Landroid is great if the ground is dry but we prefer the Lawnmaster over the Landroid during the winter/autumn/spring months (we live in Northern Ireland so the ground is often soft & wet) as he is lighter... so doesn't dig holes & doesn't get stuck, he gives a just as good cut too. None of our gardens met the recommended criteria, they have high curb drop-offs, sections with no curbs or undefined edges including along the hedges, there are a lot of obstacles & obstructions but he has had virtually no problems, he got stuck on a curb once but it was the first cut & the grass was long so he couldn't see the boundary, hasn't happened again. We do close all gates to the road when he's working but that's just as a precaution as we don't follow the recommended criteria, not really worried but it's easy to do so not a problem. To get the equivalent Landroid with the features of the Lawnmaster to cut our large gardens you could buy 5 or 6 of these... one is enough for any size of gardens... within reason. Battery lasts as long as the Landroid, he's great looking, a very well built machine, cuts perfectly & because you can easily carry him inside (also bearing in mind the difference in cost) when finished, there is a lot less anxiety about him getting stolen at night. I say "him" or "he" because you will not be able to resist giving this guy a name... ours is called Joe ("Joe" the mow, our cat is called Moe so that one was taken), he or she is too cute not to! We are amazed at the quality & features Joe has as standard, especially at this price range. We've spent more on our Landroid buying upgrades just to get it to Joe's specifications & to get it to work as well as Joe... than Joe cost. He also seems to learn... uh oh... Skynet, the machines are taking over, I see how this is going so am folding early... ALL HAIL, BOW DOWN & FEAR JOE! ;)) PS (update)... Joe had a catastrophic problem recently, he went blind or had a mental breakdown... he just refused to go back to work at all, he kept thinking there were obstructions in front of him, it happened during a bank holiday but this company answered very quickly & are sending a bare unit replacement asap... they offered my money back but Joe is great so I'd prefer the replacement... to be honest, Worx would do this too & they'd send a new battery with another fast charger but this is very refreshing, especially given the price point... very, very impressed!!!

Robotic Mower/Real God Send !!!
This is our very first robotic mower. Was put off by the need to install a boundary wire but not on this model !!! Seemed too much of an inconvenience and thought of it as a bit of a gimmick until my disability prevented me from cutting the grass myself. I was thinking of hiring someone but the cost was so staggeringly high but my problem was fixed due to my son noticing this bad boy on Amazon. I must admit to being sceptical as it seemed too good to be true as in relation to what it claimed to do but how wrong was I ? As well as paying for itself It works great and copes very well in an uneven sloping garden. It is simple to operate just put it down in garden. Push button and away the wee fella goes. He detects grass that needs cutting and does not wander off or bumps into anything as I initially feared due to its built in camera and sensors. It really does perform great. I firstly thought it was not cutting the grass but it uses more advanced technology than the more traditional mowers making the grass clippings so fine & minut that it mulches and goes back into the ground which provides much needed nutrients for a more healthy lawn so no more bulky grass boxes to empty or grass raking to do. The battery life is also very good. Lasts approx 4 hours on one charge so allows plenty of time to cut both the front & back garden. Easy to charge battery. Only takes 1 hour to fully charge. There is a good enought weight to him so he is not flimsy just right. 2 years guarantee. Easy to clean. My only gripe and it's no biggy he doesn't do the edges but I just use the garden shears. I love our wee robot and he's been named Robbie ❤️

Brilliant Machine
So, this is my first robot mower, I've wanted one for ages but didn't want the hazzle of burying wires, plus they were so expensive. This little beauty was everything I wanted, no wires needed and a great price. Literally pop out of the box turn on, wait for the lights, choose cutting option and off it goes, it's so quiet it doesn't matter what time of the day we use it. Does it sometimes get stuck down the trench near the fence, yes, but that's our fault for not properly landscaping it yet. Do we occasionally find it's tried to escape across the gravel, got stuck and switched itself off, yes but only very rarely. Does it cut the lawn well and make our life easier. Yes. Initially it was a great time waster as I found myself just watching it for hours with a cup of tea but now the novelties worn off, I just let it do it's thing and check on it occasionally to make sure it's not stuck down the trench again. Every couple of weeks we have to strim the edges and under the bushes but it's so nice not having to lug out the big, noisy mower after work twice a week in Summer. Our lawn is slightly bigger than the size it is designed for but it runs for 5hrs on one battery charge and manages to get it cut just fine. The battery charges to full in just an hour so it's not a problem if you need to run it twice. I'm definitely really pleased with this great value machine and would definitely recommend. We've called ours LaWanda 😁

Robot stopped working after 1 month
After an initially successful cut the mower started to misbehave, stopping in the midde of the lawn and wandering off the lawn. The problem appeared to be a bright low sun and shadows on the lawn. I was advised to update the firmware, which I did. The blades have now stopped spinning and the robot no longer cuts the grass. For the first use which worked I may have set the cut level too low as the lawn now looks awful and patchy! Pretty annoying as it was looking great before I let this little fellow loose. I'm awaiting support from Cleva to see what can be done about the non mowing robot. So after a month the robot has broken down. Not looking good right now so giving it 1 star and cannot recommend this product. I will update the review if anything changes. Update: after sending a video of the mower not cutting grass I was offered a replacement or refund. Decided to go for the refund. I was asked to disable and dispose of the mower which I have done.

Love this little Robot Mower
Bought this to try and help get my lawn cut whilst I'm off doing other things and I am so pleased I did. My lawn is not flat (was dug up in January to have cables run under it for solar) but just wanted something to do a bit of the donkey work. Worked out how to switch it on (Press the start button - wait for it to boot up and beep, then press the mow function your require, wait for beep, then press start again and off it goes). Watch the mower do it's thing - it only had one issue initially with a tiny insect pond but just put large stones around it and it sensed them no problem. Once I was happy that it would not disappear off somewhere just left it do do the business. It cuts well and deposits the cuttings on the lawn much to the birds delight as they dig those over a while later hunting for insects ! It is very quiet compared to a normal lawn mower, so much so that birds would happily land on the lawn and watch it pass. Given the random nature of movement the mower does take a long time to cut everywhere but I had no problems with this, indeed I found it relaxing to get a cuppa and watch it - my cats love watching it too. I used the circle cut function to finish off a small area with a large dip in it, which caused the mower to take a different route each time but other lumps and bumps were handled with ease. Takes an hour to charge the battery and then the mower is happy for ages just bumbling around cutting as it goes. I really love this mower and all I had to do was get my strimmer out to cut the edge bits it missed, literally five minutes of my time and the lawn was done - bravo little buddy bravo !

What a clever machine
Bought this mainly as a test, there are many that are much more expensive on the market but this one was highly rated and relatively inexpensive. I was in & out of hospital, my wife was away for a month and the grass wouldn't slow down. The lawn wasn't 100% suitable at first - would sometimes fall off the edge into a border - so I had to keep a watch on it (which was much easier than getting the lawnmower out & cutting it myself!). Started out using the mower in "Spot-Cut" mode, thinking that would be easy, but after a few minutes it seems to get bored going round in circles so just hares off in whatever direction it pleases. This meant I had to chase off after it before it did a lemming & dive over the lawn edge. Shame 'cos an ever increasing circle would have eventually got the whole lawn cut in few tries. Now we have installed an edge border (which is, incidentally, what the manufacturer recommends in the handbook) and everything is great! Takes 2 batteries to do my lawn and it's almost perfect - quite fun to watch, but frustrating due to its random rambling nature, seeming to prefer parts of the lawn that it has already done. Sometimes it is heading straight for one little missed clump of grass but then annoyingly stops for no apparent reason and heads off another way! Also gets confused occasionally by strong shadows. All in all quite a character bumbling around the garden. I liked the idea of not needing a buried wire guide or "garage charging station" and now we have a miniature border fence it proves that you don't need one (lawn looks much better with the fencing and the hedgehogs are still turning up most nights). Other wildlife not bothered at all and the birds seem to be fascinated by this little orange trundler. It makes only the slightest buzzing as it wombles merrily on its way. An extremely good and useful purchase - as long as it will have a long life ahead. I'd highly recommend this little machine - even as just a means of easing the grass-cutting task. There are 2 sets of blades supplied with it (shame they can't easily be sharpened - and be careful as they are razor sharp when new), so I ordered spares from the agent: very quick & efficient service, inexpensive and with free postage - what's not to like? Brilliant and thank you for the machine - lifesaver!

💥Very effective and easy to use. No wires; recognises edges and obstacles.
I followed instructions and with some difficulty got the mower going. Stopped it very soon after setting it going. Then COULDN'T get it to function again! 😨 Soooo.... Waited some months until the following year, when my son then got it going. NOT difficult actually. The length of time keeping the buttons pressed down was soon worked out and understood. Since then fully functional. This little robot Mower is a delight; very effective and easy to use. I call 'him' Benjie because, 'It feels like he definitely has a 'character' of his own🙄😳🤔'. On a well tended lawn, the mower will behave beautifully and effortlessly provide a well kept/cut, well fed, green and pleasant lawn. My lawn hadn't had regular care for a number of years, so although it had been cut relatively recently, there were areas of uneven, clumpy growth. We were most bemused when 'Benjie' immediately showed a definite preference for particular areas of the lawn! This was equally evident the next day when, after placing him at the bottom of the garden, we soon found he'd 'hi-tailed' away from this area and was happily re-mowing the area mowed the previous day. It seemed that he recognised his 'Turf'! After a little 'battle of 'wills'😨🙄,all's well and my lawn is uniformly smooth and well cut😁🎈🎈! By end of September, I expect it to be all over green as well. Certain areas in the lawn were longer or clumped, BENGIE would immediately turn and head off in a different direction...... Every time! 😳🤔 We had a game..... I stood in front of him... no matter which way he turned, there was an obstruction.... ME! Eventually Benjie, seemed to accept that there was only one free path....... Through the 'grass jungle'. (quite long growth, but not too long). Once he'd cottoned on and done the first cut of the rejected areas, from then on, I could leave him to carry on. NB. Even though I put obstacles around the areas less than acceptable to keep Bengie IN the area that I wanted cutting, much to our amusement, Benjie managed to escape every time😯🤔! Solution...😁 I kept standing in front of him so that there was only a single non-obstacle route available.....😀 It worked🎈🎈.... So far, a very robust, waterproof, neat and effective little mower, with a personality it seems!😀✨; well worth purchasing. Very easy to use and not too heavy for older persons to manage. Fun to watch. Restful too; noise.... very acceptable! Charging doesn't take too long; the battery is easily removed and slotted into the charger. The reverse is also without difficulty. Finally, this little mower does a good job, easily recognises obstacles and boundaries and reroutes without problem. The automatic mulching, which not only feeds the lawn, but disposes of the need to collect and dispose of cuttings is a great bonus too! I'm looking forward to a well kept, well fed healthy and pleasingly green lawn next year, all without my effort and without too much expense! Definitely would recommend. End of summer update on my little mower. 100% approval. Its very restful, also entertaining, to sit in the garden while Benjie quietly tootles about mowing the lawn. My rather dismal and neglected lawn is looking so much better, evenly Green and well cut. I feel that by next year the lawn will have completely recovered from the it's previous neglect. Really efficient, effective, light in weight and easy to use.

‘Larry the LawnMower’ 5 star
How have I lived without this little robot, we now affectionately call it Larry the lawnmower lol. We have a mid sized back lawn and a small front lawn. We just set Larry down and he does his job while I am free to do other things. Would recommend to anyone. Only thing to note is if your lawn is lower than the border the camera will pick up your higher border first and won’t cut out to the edge, however this is a 5 star product and for the price 100% buy one.
