**The music in the video is noncopyrighted** I wanted something a little more high tech than my old alarm clock, and this one fit the bill perfectly. It is a 5-in-1 alarm clock, radio, bluetooth speaker, nightlight, and wireless charger. The main selling point for me was the bluetooth speaker, besides it being an alarm clock. But around 2 months after I bought it, the button for turning on the bluetooth would not work. I thought this was because it might be overheating, since I use the speaker daily, but after waiting over an hour before trying to turn it off, it still would not. I then waited overnight until the next day, with the same result. If this had happened to either my phone or laptop, I would just give it a hard restart, and that would normally work, but this product CANNOT HARD RESTART. It does not need to be plugged in to work, nor is it battery operated, so then the only way for it to be "hard restarted" is by letting it die. I tried that and it helped for a bit, but then it happened again. I thought then that it might have been a defective product, so I exchanged it, but not even a week into using the new one the same thing happened. I tried letting it die and that worked, but I decided that I would rather not deal with it and returned it, and I have no intention of repurchasing again. Here is a list of its features and their pros and cons: THE CLOCK: PROS *Easy to read *Able to tell time in either 12 or 24 hour format *Simple enough to adjust *Does not interfere with alarm adjusting CONS *Twice I have caught it being several hours fast when not even tampered with, but would keep time properly after adjusting it *Display has 3 brightness settings, but the lowest is still too bright for being on a bedside table *The middle colen-like thing blinks (that doesn't bother me, but I don't know about others) THE ALARM: PROS *Bright display *Fairly simple to set *Volume is separate from the speaker and radio *Easy to snooze (tap anywhere on the handle) *Easy to turn on/off CONS *Very unpredictable, several times would not go off at the set time *Not a good alarm for deep or heavy sleepers *Plays lullaby for alarm (can be heard interrupting music in video) *Will snooze for only 5 minutes at a time, and only snooze 3 times, or a total of 15 minutes, before turning off *Might be a little too easy to turn off/snooze; the way to do both is either by tapping the handle once for snooze or long tapping to turn off *No option for dual alarms BLUETOOTH SPEAKER: PROS *Wraps all the way around, so makes a nice "surround sound" *No muddy sound when turned up *For a relatively small machine, there is no tinny sound *Good at amplifying sound *Good range of volume *Gets decently quite *BT range is pretty good (my phone being downstairs sometimes while I'm using it upstairs) *BT connects quickly to paired device CONS: *Will only adjust volume based on phone volume (will not turn up or down independently of phone volume) *When turning on BT it makes a little 3-beat chime, connecting makes a 4-beat chime, and turning off will make a different 4-beat chime, and all are loud no matter how low the volume is (could be annoying to others if used at night) *When speaker is playing you cannot adjust brightness; it must be turned off to change it (since the v.down button controls the brightness RADIO: PROS *Good sound *Comes with a connected FM antenna (the thin gray cord wrapped on the bottom) CONS *This CURRENT MODEL CANNOT search for individual channels; you can only search for ones that have been programmed in *Extremely confusing to navigate channels *Cannot stop on specific channels (stops at random) *There seems to be presets, but I never figured out how they worked or how to change them *Seems to go in circles or backwards sometimes when attempting to adjust channels *Channels will often overlap into a muddled mess NIGHTLIGHT: PROS *3 levels of brightness *Makes a decent lamp *At the highest level it can light up a good-sized bedroom well *Lowest setting would make for a good nightlight as long as it is not right next to a bed *Highest setting could work for reading but almost hurts to look at it *Handle makes it easy to transport light *Does not get warm CONS *Can be too bright if right next to bed *WAY too easy to turn on; all it takes is one feather-light tap and it will turn on *The light can be easily turned on accidentally by doing any other action *More of a white light than yellow, but not like LED *Once turned on you have to tap it 3 more times to turn off completely WIRELESS CHARGING STATION: PROS *Great size for any model of phone, fits even an S23 Ultra *Instructions say will not work with any case over 5mm, but my S23 case is pretty thick and has a popsocket on it, and will charge as long as the removable part is unscrewed *Is a "fast charging" station CONS *Must be very exact when centering phone, otherwise will not charge *Can be easily bumped around and will not charge *Must be plugged into the wall to wireless charge *No output USB port for any other device THE DEVICE AS A WHOLE: PROS *Easily read display *Good sound *Chic design *Multi use *Practical *Portable *Cheaper than other options CONS *Undependable *Learning curve *Incredibly bright display - I personally would say too bright - even on the lowest setting *Could find something cheaper with less bells and whistles that is more dependable *Size is not very practical for those with precious table space *Very large for clock, and heavy for one *Touchy *Not the best option for heavy sleepers (alarm wise) *Not good at all for those who are sensitive to light at night when trying to sleep *It is covered in a woven fabric, so could snag easily *Buttons are not separate, they are all on one long silicone strip *The buttons make loud clicking noises when pushed This is what I had observed after having this item for around 3 months before returning, and using it daily. Take this info how you would, just carefully think through what you need, how much space you have, and what might come to be bothersome over a long period of time.
