I typically buy those flat, foot files or a basic pumice stone (the pumice holes aren't as big as these). In wanting to try something different I picked this up. It did a horrible job smoothing out my heels. I'd scrub and scrub. Sometimes, my heels would be sore from doing so, but still turned out rough. Dry skin also gets caught in the pumice grooves so you have to rinse this carefully.I threw this away and bought a flat file. Worked wonders.

On time delivery, no problems. The pumice stone itself is great. Much coarser than typical pumice file or smaller stone. This is about the size of half a fist with larger pores and fairly rough/sharp. So, the resulting texture is great for really getting after calloused skin. Plus, the little rope on it makes it great for hanging in the tub/shower. The price on this is less than what you pay for something much smaller in most beauty places and it looks like it is going to last a lifetime. Great deal and product.

I purchased this stone and it arrived very porous and rough. Upon use, it started disintegrating. The seller contacted me and offered me a new stone and I accepted. No stone came. I contacted the seller again a few days later and still received no response. I presume this is designed for folks like me who have heel callouses that are thick and hard to remove. You can't get much more heavy-duty than an actual rock to scrape off those pesky callouses and dried skin, but instead of actually removing it, it just seems to tear them apart, leaving ragged skin. I still have to go back over it with my battery-powered mini-ped to smooth it out. Plus, it is rough on your hands as you use it.

Not as rough as I thought it would be. You need to work it a bit to get a result. I thought it would be a rougher stone. I scrub my feet every other day so they r always presentable. But this will do for now. I also sometimes use old coffee grinds to scrub my feet, elbows and knees. Coffee grinds r great.

The stone I received was far too rough and actually caused more damage than good when used properly. I ended up having to dispose of it and purchase one with a finer grit.

This stone is much nicer than the ones with finer surface. My feet aren't really calloused, but this paired with my home made body butter, my feet are super soft. The seller also sent me an additional email with care instructions. They seem to care abut my satisfaction, which I am very satisfied.

I mean, it is what it says it is! Works just like any pumice stone, and it's a good size too. It's about as long as my hand and maybe 2/3 the width, but I have kind of short and fat hands, so make of that what you will. I think it's perfect, though!
