Review: Works and seller very helpful - These work great, but you need to be careful Purchased these to use for a long run to a security camera outdoors. they worked perfectly for a month, then stopped working. Seller replaced without issue and then worked again. I will say it certainly seems waterproof, and works right away easily. But i think there needs to be a bit more awareness about how to protect them in a setup. It is likely a surge could have killed mine, but it is not really clear from the beginning that this could be possible. ______________________________ UPDATE: Seller reached out to me immediately after this review to resolve this issue, and offered to assist in making sure my setup was correct and replaced the item with support and guidance on making things right to protect against future issues. I believe this seller really wants to make things right and stand behind this product, so I have updated my rating. **Q: Can I use this to go 400' from my router to a switch?**
A: It should work for that.

**Q: Do i have to cut the cable an take connector off**
A: No. Unscrew the ends of the connector. Then push the cable through the part you just took off and plug the cable into the connector. Screw the end back on. Do the same thing on the other side of the connector with another cable.

**Q: what is the maximum number you can daisy chain?**
A: I don't know. I ordered two of them and neither one of them works. So I gave up. Sorry I couldn't answer your question better.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the extenders themselves? Will they fit in a 1" conduit?**
A: It will not fit inside 1-inch conduit, will need to be 2 inches. If that's not an option might consider adding a J-box long enough to accommodate the PoE Extender.

These are not completely waterproof I followed all the instructions tighten them up with the spanner they supplied buried them in the ground water got in and my cameras went off so I had to dig them back out also I am still waiting for my refund which is now about a month since I sent them back
