I love Tapo cameras. This is my second one as the first one was so simple to install and connect, the app allows you to have up to 36 cameras to be connected to the same device. The video quality is amazing for the price of the camera. I like all the different setting on the camera so you can focus in exactly where you want the camera to pick up any movement. You can also turn on function like person detection, Line crossed detection, camera tampering, you can also turn on a alarm which is great if you see someone on your property. The night vision is great (tip, if you are using the camera pointing out of a window turn off the night mode and then the camera will be able to see out of the glass) I like the LED functioning lights so you and others know that the camera is working. Even though the camera is not the smallest people do not notice it, so its good that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb on your property. Another tip - purchase a good quality Micro SD card as the cheap ones can sometimes cause problems with the camera unable to record. The Tapo app is so easy to use which is a big sell to me as I want to be able to see quickly what is going on outside. Ill defiantly be buying more Tapo cameras in the future.

Good camera I have bought a few of these: good night time picture and clear. Sound quality is good snd very easy to connect to the Tapo app. Easy to mount and comes with all the fixtures very easy instal.

These are very good and superb value though it must be noted they need a direct 9 volt power supply, they are not battery powered. The clever bracket allows several mounting options and there is no need for subscriptions as they record to a micro sd card and the recordings can be viewed and downloaded via the app. - there is also a live view option with record and snap shot functions.. Night vision is good and can be enhanced with a switchable light and the camera can be set to track the movement detected. The only little gripe is that the app does not allow individual notification sounds to be assigned to each unit. I bought the first one last September for the front and a second one in March for the back of the house and am delighted with them

I bought this for use in mobile sytems, eg Campervans, motorhomes etc that already have a 12v power system. This powers directly from that so nice and easy to integrate into that existing system for the power. it’s easy to setup with the TP link apps, I also have a TP-link router to provide the Wifi internet connectivity. I’ve not tried the cloud service yet which brings some extra features but without that it does enough for me. The first micro SD card I put in only worked for a few mins before throwing an error. I then got a Sandisk Ultra which is working fine. The amount of data used will vary a lot depending on how much footage you review remotely, but it can be quite data hungry so watch out. I seem to be averaging around 300mb/day and that’s with not a lot of viewing. Any events are stored on the SC card locally, you have to be on the same local WiFi network to DOWNLOAD the clips, but you can still review the clips over the internet from anywhere which is useful. This does NOT work with Apple Home Kit. I haven’t tried the other equivalents but supposedly it will work with those. The AI detection of motion/person seems mostly pretty good, although the rain at night time does trigger false detection events. For 5 stars it needs some tweaks on the AI detection to minimise the false alerts when it rains, and for Apple homekit support. It would also be nice to be able to choose a lower bitrate stream for general viewing remotely, only sending the full res stream when you review/download clips specifically, to cut down on data usage. Overall I’m happy with it, and even with a £15 128gb SD card, it’s decent value. Would recommend for vanlifers, motorhomes etc.

Honestly a great camera. After using an alternative much more expensive brand the WiFi couldn't reach it at my garage. I shopped around and fell onto the tc65. Now I was skeptical but nah this worked perfectly, WiFi range was double and the features are great. We now have our back wall protected! One of my fav features are the boundary intruder alarm. If anyone crosses it we get notified instantly! great buy

These are excellent pieces of kit , especially in trace mode, if you want to protect something these are excellent value for money, good quality footage too.

Great price, simple to set up and connect. Add an SD card for local recording on the loop and it’s all done.
