Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou is Seiren Private Academy’s “solitary princess.” She’s a half-Russian beauty with silver hair, at the top of her class, student council accountant, and…completely unapproachable. For some reason, she’s also taken on the responsibility of reprimanding the slacker who sits next to her in class. Masachika Kuze is constantly frustrating her by falling asleep, forgetting his textbooks, and just being an overall unexemplary student. Or at least, that’s how it looks from the outside. She may put on a tough act, but she doesn’t mind Masachika as much as others would think. She even lets him call her by her nickname, Alya. Anyone hearing the comments she mutters in Russian under her breath might know how she really feels, but since none of her classmates understand the language, she’s free to say whatever she likes! Except…there is one person who knows what she’s saying. Masachika eavesdrops on her embarrassing revelations, pretending to be clueless, all the while wondering what her flirtatious comments actually mean! Review: Absolutely hilarious and sweet - This was a great book. I picked it up only knowing the basic premise and it was so much better than I expected it to be. The comedy was great. The characters were all fun. They may seem basic characters at first but there is depth to them that you learn as the story goes along. The relationship between the main couple is really good and it is so easy to root for them. I wound up getting hooked on the series and reading all the way through Volume 8 in a week and a half. Review: Worth getting - If you are on the fence you should go for it. This series maintains the quality of this installment at least as far as volume 8 (The most recent installment as of this review). I've read a lot of LN's that lose steam after a few volumes or over-rely on the hook but this isn't one of them. Great book and well worth reading.

Interesting series. I have seen clips of it here and there over on youtube.
Honestly thought this was a Manga. Not an Light Novel. No biggie tho. I heard the series is interesting. So I am gonna read first, then watch. please make it more clear that Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian are Light Novels and NOT MANGA. aside from a tiny little blue tag when you scroll down to product details, there's nothing indicating that this is a Light Novel. Thx. Looking forward to the read.

Predictable but fun romance
A nice romance with a cute gimmick. How long the gimmick will last before it gets boring idk, but it was fine for this volume. Characters aren’t anything special, but do the job. Mc was fine for this volume, but I feel he may go the way of allot of MCs in this type series and become a bit insufferable as the series goes on. Overall, a good start, but nothing that will blow your mind.

It's a good premise, but the story doesn't move
This book is kinda bad. I mean, the beginning was really interesting, but nothing happened really nothing. After the second chapter, the story doesn't move at all, a solid 🪨 I tried my best to finish it, but it was kinda hard. I'm not going to read the next
