This fit perfectly on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara unlimited. There’s no point in spending $200 on a dorman or even more on oem when this is an exact replica. It’s like buying iron 45lbs weight plates from usa that cost 10x’s more only bc it’s from usa when china makes the same exact thing for 10x’s less. And yes i bought all my iron weight plates from china during covid and they’re amazing! I ended up ordering mopar gaskets for it just bc I kept seeing others say you should do it. They’re cheap, like $10 and so I went with them just in case. The only failure you’ll have on these is the gaskets, that’s why it doesn’t make sense to buy a housing that’s 3x’s more expensive just for the name, they’re identical products made of aluminum. Tbh, the gaskets that came with it seemed better lol but i swapped them anyways just bc I don’t want to do this job again for many years. Just make sure you put oil on the O-ring so when you put the housing on it doesn’t move and cause a leak. It honestly wasn’t a terrible diy job, the hardest part was getting my wiring harness connectors off bc someone before me broke the red lock clip on one! Get you some picks from harbor freight to make your life easier taking them off. I used the original gaskets it came with on the manifold, they fit perfect. I also seen people saying use your original sensors that you had on your oem oil housing but that’s not necessary! The ones that come with it fit perfectly and haven’t given me any issues whatsoever, and they’re brand new so why would I want to keep using old ones that are over 10 yrs old? I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

The unit fit perfectly into my Jeep as it should, quality of the material is outstanding and the price was even better than expected. No leaks, sensors are working perfectly. No issues whatsoever, very impressed with the shipping speed and how well it was packaged. Will definitely buy other products from this seller if needed.

I’ve owned my 2013 Chrysler Town & Country for years, and like so many others, I was dealing with the infamous plastic oil filter/coolant housing cracking and leaking coolant all over the engine bay. It was a slow drip at first, then a mess. I’d had enough.I took a chance on this upgraded ALL-ALUMINUM version, and I couldn’t be happier. This thing is built like a tank – no more worrying about Chrysler’s cheap plastic cracking in the heat or cold. Fitment was absolutely perfect – dropped right into place with no modifications needed. Every bolt hole lined up, and all the seals seated beautifully.The install took me about 2 hours working at a relaxed pace in my home garage. It’s definitely doable for a DIYer, but be prepared with the right tools:8mm, 10mm, and 13mm sockets/wrenches Torx/star sockets (for the studs) A trim/door panel removal tool to gently pop off the plastic pins without breaking them Pro tip: Have a drain pan ready for coolant, and take your time bleeding the system afterward to avoid air pockets.Bottom line: If you’re tired of the factory plastic housing failing, spend the extra money on this aluminum upgrade. It’s worth every penny for the peace of mind alone. Leak is gone, engine bay stays clean, and I’m confident this will outlast the van itself.Highly recommend – one of the best upgrades I’ve done on this minivan!

I bought this in February, the internal exchanger has failed already (6 months). This caused oil to contaminate my cooling system, sludge in all the cooling components. I would suggest passing on this and spending the money on OEM. Cheaper isn’t better in this case.

4/8/2025 Installed this unit on my 2015 2door JK 2 weeks ago. Seems quality built. I would say that if you are considering doing this on your own, be sure to watch a few videos on youtube to make sure you are confident you can install it on your own. It isn’t necessarily too difficult, it is just very tedious; take your time. A few notes to make sure you don’t have to do this job twice: 1. DO NOT use the O-rings and gaskets they supply you with in this kit. They are noticeably low quality. Buy and use the OEM pack: Mopar Engine O-Ring Kit - 68191356AA 2. DO NOT use the pre-installed sensors on the unit. I unfortunately had to do the job twice. The jeep threw engine light and codes after I was done because it did not recognize the coolant temperature and oil pressure sensors on the unit. Order OEM or OEM quality sensors. All you have to do is unscrew them from the unit, and screw on your quality replacements. After re-installing with new sensors. Worked like a charm, no engine light or error codes given. The sensors i ordered are: Dorman 926-188 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Mopar 5149077AB Coolant Temperature Sensor Overall, great alternative to original. You are saving a lot of money going with this unit, but dont skip out on the O-ring gaskets and the sensors; even adding those purchases, you are spending considerably less than half the cost of the OEM replacement unit, and not to mention the hundreds on labor costs. If you are gonna do it, do it right, with the OEM quality O-rings, gaskets and sensors. So far, the housing is working perfectly. Will update in a few months.

I purchased this for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler that had an oil pressure sensor fault code. A leaky oil cooler can cause the code, and the sensor is on the cooler, so its best to just replace the entire assembly. The craftsmanship seems good. I replaced the sensors (oil and coolant) with OEM since some have reported fault codes with the installed sensors, and I did not want to have to take off the manifolds again if they were throwing codes. I used the supplied O-rings since I saw no obvious design or material flaws. I think that some people who have reported leaks may not have taken care to prepare the surfaces, carefully position the part while installing it, and properly torquing it. This assembly does have an extra port that protrudes out of the left side, which makes it difficult to install. I was not sure it would even fit, but I figured out just the right way to angle it to allow it to move past the intake ports. During this process, I can see how it would be easy to damage the oil O-ring since the intake ports on the engine have sharp edges. There were no leaks after installation. We'll see how long that lasts.

Funcionou perfeitamente no meu Jeep Wrangler 2012. Mecânico disse apenas que teve que trocar um O-Ring, pois apresentou leve vazamento. No teste de bancada, sob pressão, funicionou bem. Estou com ele no carro há 9 meses, sem vazamentos e funcionando perfeitamente. A estrutura em alumínio me parece ser bem melhor que o original, em plástico. Mercadoria veio importada dos EUA e mesmo com as taxas de importação, foi infinitamente mais barata que na concessionária. Recomendo

Lasted all of around a month or two before failing and having to be replaced again. Don't cheap out on this product.

The casting seems of a good quality. I used new OEM o-rings , seals , oil filter and both sensors since I cannot thrust those that came with the oil cooler. I didn’t have leaks during the start up and 3 days of normal usage of the truck after. Will see if everything rest the same after more usage. I would recommend it 100% with those bemols I already mentioned.

Bought this as a third replacement for a part that I honestly shouldn't be replacing that often on a car with 200K kms on it. The first one was just over 100K. They keep failing. This despite taking my time and not rushing through it. The last one didn't last a winter, it was showing leaks in January and eventually got bad enough to now that I had had enough with the parking pad oil staining. All of them plastic. OEM never tried anything but...and still wanted over double what this aluminum alternative is going for. Worse if I went to dealer and suffered that indignity. This is a good product, not prone to warp and cracks like the OEM and others I tried before. They all failed. One cracked, the others...I gave up looking. Verified they were still torq'd before I removed them...inspected seals and with the exception of one coolant port that looked iffy, no oil was leaking from those points. This one comes with new screws and both upper/lower intake seals. The packaging felt "professional"...some quality involved. Perception is everything and nothing. Of course, the other ones I spent more money on, were not packaged anything like this one and I had to pay extra for the seals. Both sensors worked on the 2015 3.6l Chrysler 200 without issues, the car settled in. Still "retraining" the computer, but so far no leaking present. Verified with a probe cam a week after install and use. Hopefully this is the last time I have to do this. Nothing wrong with the car otherwise. Due to problems with my Amazon account shortly after I purchased this, it no longer properly registers that I bought this, so this cannot be tagged as verified purchase. That said, I still give the product high marks for the things I noted above.
