Introduced to Zotz in early 1971, they were an instant favorite: candy that fought back. LoL. I was six and it was awesome. Then we moved, in late 1972 to a state stuck in the 1800's and I didn't see Zotz again for 36 years. The love affair was rekindled and they have never NOT been in my home since then. Hot Zotz in a bag? YES. 😁😁😁

If you like cinnamon candy these might be worth a try. I have become addicted to them! The fizzy centers are a nice plus! They are plenty hot, but not unbearable!

I love Zots. Especially lemon and the orange flavors. However, the flavor of these cinnamon ones really threw me for a loop! - I have a love for hot cinnamon, so I was really looking forward to trying these. The outer shell of the candy had a nice mild cinnamon flavor. But when the fizz came out, OMG, sour!!! - My initial reaction was "Yuk!" - I tried another piece the following day and it didn't seem to taste as bad. I was hoping that the fizz powder in these would be cinnamon flavor, but it's not. It's sour! - The combination of sour and cinnamon is just too weird for me. I'm going to keep trying them. I expect that these will start to taste better as I eat more of them. An acquired taste as they say. LOL!

I had never before consumed these candies but was inspired to try them as a replacement for the discontinued (?) cinnamon Jolly Ranchers. At first taste, they were pleasant-- sweet, smooth, and cinnamony. The experience was ruined once the inside began to leak out. Tasting of bitter, sour baking soda, the gel-like ooze gushed from two tiny holes in the candy, overwhelming any prior sweetness. From then on, any attempt to enjoy the candy was interrupted by random bursts of grainy sour sludge. There are many positive reviews of this product, so perhaps it's the kind of thing that tastes good if you're used to it. But I am not.

On the look-out for affordable Atomic Fireball replacement candy, I tried these and dang. They are seriously good. Initially a decent heat that eventually fades into a mix of citrus sour flavor with warm cinnamon that you would not think works but totally does. Eventually tones down to a mild cinnamon sweet flavor but really nice candy, Not much fizz tbh but I had no interest in a pop rocks thing. A+

WEIRD CANDY. I LOVE CINNAMON WHICH IS WHY I TRIED THEM. YOU GET A WEIRD CINNAMON TASTE FOR MINUTE UNTIL THE FIZZ STARTS AND THEN JUST SOOOOOOOO WEIRD TASTING. I DONT KNOW IF I LOVE IT OR HATE IT.
