Typical Civivi quality. Opens smooth, came sharp. Love that 14c28n steel. Burlap micarta scale, yes singular, *eyeroll*, is nice both in look and feel. I know it only came with one side with a scale. But in hand I hate when they do singular scale knives. One side is rounded, the other is flat, makes for an odd gripping experience. I have the carbon fiber/damascus version as well, much better than the standard version. Standard version is heavier too. There's nothing wrong with this knife, but personal preference a couple things bother me.

Solid feel, looks almost elegant. Functional as well. Civivi don't come as sharp as I would like but the steel is able to be sharpened well.

Good quality. Great knife overall. Good size, great design, great finish - handle fits well in the hand. Flipper tab is short but functional; not much of a finger guard in the open position, but okay - don't stab at things full force. No thumb stud (I'm not a fan of those). A bit slippery, still better than full steel or aluminum frame (e.g. the similar size Kershaw Iridium). Frame lock seems quite positive, it takes a bit of practice to learn how to unlock it and close the knife one-handed. Deep-enough carry clip, good/ medium tension. Elegant enough, not tactical-looking - I wouldn't be worried using it to cut my steak at a restaurant. Minus one star - I keep the blade clean and dry but somehow managed to get a rust spot in the fuller - I guess some water must have been left in there. The 14C28N steel is supposed to be quite stainless... I'll have to be more careful and treat this as I treat my D2 steel blades, keep it lightly oiled all over. The newer Civivi Caetus is almost the same as the Cetos. It does away with the frame lock (it uses a liner lock) and it looks the same on both sides.

The knife is gorgeous. Blade is sharp. Micarta looks and feels great. But if the action is bad, I gotta mark you down a couple of stars. See video which demonstrates my point… Don’t get me wrong, you can get it to open, just lacks the smoothness and ease of opening I’m used to with Civivi. Order a replacement just to make sure I didn’t get a bad one… same thing. Maybe this is the best they can get being frame lock.

This knife is very well made, you can feel the quality right away. The edge on it is very sharp and even with daily usage it holds well. For the price I highly recommend it!

This cheap knife is one of my favorite EDC. It's well made, easy to open and close. Lock up is very solid, and feels great in your hand. Buy one!
