These absolutely met that criteria. I saw some other reviews saying the glasses had broken. Unfortunately I did experience one glass breaking after going through the dishwasher. They do say they are dishwasher safe; however, with most anything if you want it to last hand washing is the best bet. I reached out to the company about the broken glass and they responded very quickly and made it right. I am impressed with how they handled my concern and how quickly I got my new glass. I am very pleased with their customer service. Since hand washing them, I haven’t had a problem in over two months of daily use.
