Simple and cool
Worked well and very cheap!

stear clear of this
way to much money for this, motors are not high torque and can not handle rough terrain only smooth surfaces. your money would be well spent ELSEWARE !

Pretty solid. Terrible instuctions. Some mechanical weak points.
The frame is pretty sturdy and the motors work well with a 3S battery. I found it easy to mount my electronics inside. The connection between the motors and the wheels is a weakpoint. I've already had one wheel fall off repeatedly, until I finally stripped the set screw hole while trying to get it tighter. I drilled it out and retapped it to 6-32. We'll see how it holds up. The instructions are terrible. Luckily it's pretty self explanatory. There are many types and lengths of screws provided, but the design is not very picky about what screw is used where. 80 bucks seems a bit much for what you get, but it's not a total piece of junk. I used 2 bidirectional "TANK" escs (each with 2 channels) to drive the motors and that worked great. I though I could set up a mix in my transmitter for mecanum drive, but I have a flysky FS-I6X and it's mix functions are pretty basic so I ended up using a pi pico as a mixer. I looked online and there are some you can buy readymade for 30 bucks. It's pretty fun and challenging to drive.
