Beautiful upgrade for my kitchen cabinets!
I used this reeded glass film on the glass panels of my kitchen cabinets to hide the dishes inside, and I absolutely love the result! It gives my cabinets the look of expensive textured glass without the cost of replacing the panels. The pattern is elegant and modern, and it still lets light through while disguising the clutter inside. Itโs the perfect balance of style and function โ my dishes are hidden, but the kitchen still feels open and bright. The installation was simple, and I really appreciated that itโs non-adhesive because it made it easy to adjust and get a smooth finish. Once installed, it looks like a custom designer detail. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting an easy, affordable kitchen refresh! Here is a pic of the before and after!

Great for privacy, but may test your patience
I do not like working with privacy film or anything that requires precision, because I tend to have OCD about these things. However, I appreciated the fact that there are grid lines to help with measuring and cutting. I used a spray bottle with just plain water and ordered a cheap installation kit also from Amazon, which included two scrapers with felt edges and Exacto style knife with blades. After cutting the pieces with scissors, I proceeded to peel the cellophane off the back of the privacy film. This was harder than it looked and took a few minutes for each piece - it just clung so tightly to the film. Once peeled, I sprayed the back of the film and the window (as it says in the instructions, the wetter the better - take that as you will). The film adhered to the window nicely and I was able to squeegee the excess water out with the scraper. Cutting, though, was a different matter. For whatever reason, my Exacto knife could not cut cleanly through the excess film and would skip, tear, and result in a very jagged cut. I found that it was easier to perforate a line with the tip of the Exacto knife, then use scissors to cut all the way across, rather than trying to use the Exacto knife alone. Hopefully this makes more sense when attempting this. Thankfully, I ordered 10% more than what was needed just in case I made any mistakes, so I was able to replace the piece with the torn edges. I also found that part of the frame on the door could be lifted, so I wedged as much excess as I could under it, instead of attempting to cut it off. This resulted in a nicer, smoother look. Doing this saved me a lot of time. I would probably guess that after figuring out a system, each panel took me about 15-20 minutes to do, including peeling off the cellophane. I kid you not, each piece of cellophane took me at least 5 minutes to find a corner to peel off. Once done, I loved the look. Before, anyone could look straight into the house, but after the film was installed, I finally had some privacy. I had debated between putting a curtain panel up, but decided on this because the entryway is so dark. Iโm glad I chose this route, because I love how clean it looks while still allowing light in. Update: I ended up having to do the other side as well, because when I looked in from the outside with the lights on at night, there wasnโt as much privacy as I thought.

Very hard to remove backing film.
I had to cut several sheets to cover glass panels on front door. I often spent 10-15 minutes just trying to peel off a corner. i had 6 panels. Grid marks were nice though. You have to manage your cutting or it goes off track and ends up too small. Almost better to make 1/4" bigger and trim as you install. Bubbles are hard to push down and eliminate completely. Looks good from distance, but has lots of install issues.

My favorite window privacy film!
If you're looking for a way to add some flair and privacy to your space, this rainbow window film is an absolute game-changer. ***** Five Stars โ Pure Sunshine and Privacy! I am beyond thrilled with this rainbow privacy film! I originally bought it for the privacy benefits, and it does a fantastic job of obscuring the view without making the room feel dark or closed off. The Highlights: โข Easy Installation: I was a little nervous about the application process, but it was so easy to put up. It went on smoothly without any major headaches. โข Simple Removal: It is just as easy to take down as it is to put up, which is perfect if I ever need to see out the window clearly or want to switch things up. โข The "Happy" Factor: My favorite part is the rainbow effect. When the sun shines directly through the window, it casts the most beautiful colors across the room. It honestly makes me so happy every time I see it! If you want a functional privacy solution that also brings a little magic into your home, I cannot recommend this enough. Itโs a total mood-booster!

Will purchase again
I just wanted to hide the fact that I keep my smaller appliances in these cabinets and this worked perfectly! It was super easy to apply and thatโs because I rushed it, could have slowed down. After I cut the film, I realized that I probably would have liked the stripes to be horizontal, but I didnโt want to use any more film so I applied them vertically and it still looks good. I wanted to save the film to use on the entertainment center in my living room since I like this so much.

Exactly what I ordered
Looks exactly like the product photos. Easy enough to install as well. Does provide full privacy while still letting in light.

Decent quality but may not be ideal
This helped add privacy to our front door but looks more opaque than the photos where it seemed like youโd still be able to see some colors/blurred shapes outside. Installation wasnโt too bad and it was easy to remove bubbles, but we skipped the box cutter step because it was ripping instead of making clean cuts, so we just had to cut to size with scissors as best as possible. My biggest warning is that if you get any direct sunlight through the window youโre covering, it will be absolutely blinding during that time. I donโt think these will last long for us but for the price they are good quality.

Great if you do it right
I'm giving this 5 stars with a note that you should do a sample window first. My suggestions are: - unless you have new windows, use a box cutter blade and scrape the window clean. Any paint drops, dirt, or anything stuck to the window will show at the end. - I used clear Windex to spray the window and film. Worked great. Have a washcloth or towel ready because it will spill out the edges. - use a box cutter blade instead of an xacto knife to trim the edges. It's stronger and does not rip the vinyl (see photo). - a credit card works perfectly as a guide when trimming the edges and for swiping away the bubbles. Overall I like the look and would do it again - especially since I know how it works now.

Absolute Game Changer!!!
Absolute game changer! There is a protective film on the front that needs to be peeled off. It can be a little tricky, but place some sticky tape on the corner and then pull apart. Aside from that, very easy to use. Don't put too much water on the glass panel OR the film - just a light wipe over with a sponge will suffice. Very happy! I've added some before and after photos (and with/without photos for comparison). (.... now to fix that god awful red glass splashback! LOL!)

Perfect!
Exactly how it is ! Super easy to use and great for privacy. Thank you. FYI to future buyers, don't use the plastic that got given, I had a few scratch marks by using it so use silicone or hands to get the air bubbles. But other than that it works perfectly. To the person who recorded the video who said it's 1 star โญ (TAKE YOUR FILM OFF). There is a thin film that you need to take off before sticking and it has instructions to say so. ๐คญ๐ซฃ

Doesn't work
Other reviews talked about grid lines in the back. Nope. I had to make a template myself with good old 30cm ruler and paper. Made a small piece to check how much it might shrink. Used my very high power hair drier to help stick on as there was no adhesive... (and obviously no instructions!) Very disappointing. Anyone wants a free trial of the product contact me - you can have my roll. I also bought kit of scissors and scrapers as others bought. I can say the scissors and stanley knife is pretty good in that!
