Charcoal Exfoliating Scrub with Himalayan Salt for Face and Body - Activated Charcoal Facial Scrub for Men & Women - Natural - Made in USA

So, I have given this product a fair 2-3 weeks of use, and the results were mixed. So to begin with, first time use was interesting to say the least. Smelling it reminded me of that new house smell for some reason. Putting it on and using it took some effort (coming from using normal body wash (shower gel). So there were definitely some changes made to how I bathe. Obviously, this increases shower time from 5-10 minutes to 15-20 minutes. You certainly don't want to rush using this product as I found out the hard way. Charcoal REALLY likes to stain anything it touches, especially plastic bathtubs and WHITE towels (More on that later*). Finally, the end results. The claims it promises were true. After using the product for the first time, my skin was little softer and my acne started to clear up. After a week, my acne was virtually gone, my skin was getting noticeably softer and was retaining softness. Finally after about 3 weeks, my skin was completely soft, like butter smooth and the acne, never came back. One thing that took some getting used to was the sheer oiliness. Felt like someone poured olive oil all over my body. It caused the water to bead and slide off, which was cool and weird to feel on my skin. My final thoughts, not bad of a product.Now we talk about the(*). So... as I mentioned. The charcoal that's contained, does not have any mercy when it comes to staining anything it comes into contact with. My bathtub is now a shade darker, my white towels are now visibly stained with the stuff and as of typing this review, my skin is still slightly stained with it. Though I should have done my research more carefully, Lynx Essentials should still warn consumers that this product will stain anything it touches. Even after bleaching and using brute-force scrubbing, some of the charcoal would not come out and the towels, though cheap and still usable, are now forever stained. At the end of the day, it made my skin soft and cleared my acne. Unfortunately though, the effort and time I had to put into using this, plus the ruined stuff it touched, I will have to continue my journey else where for a better solution for my needs.

This is messy and a bit difficult to use. There's nothing in it to hold the salt and charcoal together, it'll stain any washcloth you use with it, and you have to wash after using it or it will leave oil residue on your face.However, it is hands down the absolute best exfoliator I've ever used (and I'm an exfoliator nut, I own dozens). I have extremely dry skin, and if I use this before I wash and tone my face, I could easily make it through the day without moisturizer (or makeup) if I had to; it makes my skin look that good.

Gritty but feels great. It's messy and the container leaks. During shipping, it soaked through the box and covered everything else in the package. Whenever it is tipped over, it leaks.

AMAZING! The aromatherapy smell, the oils and the scrub all rolled into one. Will never be without it.

I love this product! It leaves my face so smooth and clear. I haven't tried it on my body yet but will definitely. To say that I am pleased is an understatement.

Leaves my skin super smooth, and the natural oils moisturize on top of that. It seems to work well for my acne as well, the only down fall is it gets all over my shower and it’s jet black! But I love it.
