EXO-HX1 Shield (Silver Mirror)

Visor is flawless. I purchased this for my 120th Anniversary Harly helmet as Harley doesn't offer the chrome visor. Dark enough you don't have to wear sunglasses but allows enough visibility at night that it looks like you're looking through the clear visor.

I think this visor looks and works great. The shield works just as it should, locks into place perfectly and the magnet is strong. Almost a little too strong.. sometimes I have to use two hands to pry the shield open so take that as you will, I see it as a benefit and it will loosen up over time.The lens is very clear and easy to see through and blocks the sun from blinding my eyes very well. At night it’s a little dark but still not so much that I’m unable to see the road, better under street lights but still not ideal so of course this shield is best suited for daylight.I was a bit worried it would fog up without having a pin-lock but Scorpions new EverClear lens works great. So good in fact I ordered a replacement clear visor as well. Absolutely no fog up, even in harsh fog and rainy conditions. No need for pin-lock!

Really liked the look of the visor no magnets however so while I’m riding 90mph or in high winds it will flip up depending on the direction you’re looking in. Other than that nice visor.

Visor looks allright, but is not a pinlock capable visor. Picture is not accurate.

Both my mirror finish and clear don’t hold up to being cleaned off after every ride. I use either microfiber towels or windex towels to clean my visor and the clear one I can barely see through when the sun is out. The mirror finished visor has multiple spots where the finish has wore off and makes it also difficult to see in the sun. Overall for the high price visor for a cheap helmet, your better off purchasing a good quality helmet with a high quality visor. After purchasing 3 visors you’ve spent more that your helmet cost. If you want something that will last you 6 months then this is perfect for you. Side note, if you don’t live somewhere where there is agriculture and or farmland this may last quite a bit and may be worth it. I’m sure if you are doing lots of city riding it’s just fine.

Fits well, works well and is extremely clear unlike most shield on the marlet today. It's dark, but not too dark that you wouldn't want to wear it on a dark cloudy day. Doesn't fog up, even when sitting at a red light, bit that could be because the HX-1 is one of the best ventilated helmets on the market. Would buy again.

The fit was PERFECT! But the image is very misleading. The shield DOES NOT have the "carbon fiber" look on the ends, as pictured, nor does it have the pin lock feature, again, as pictured.
