Much better than plastic.
I broke the small niple off while doing other work on my car. I couldn't drive my 2009 toyota corolla till this was fixed. Got it the very next day and it worked perfectly. I would advise buying new clamp for the small port as my factory one wouldn't clamp down tight enough. I used a small screw on hose clamp and it fixed the small leak I had after installing the upgraded aluminum one.
