UPDATE 4/19/2021: Purchased second Pillow Added two stars and added another WELLAX to my camping KIT Bag now I have one for bugout bag and one for camping etc. As pesky as I thought the VALVE was going to be over time I adjusted and with the compact pillow size it is easy to get all the air out with just a little practice. This pillow is very comfortable, much like my chiropractic pillow I use at home, easy to keep your head on while in your tent and I now bought another and recommend it to friends. I just hope my recently purchased WELLAX pillow performs as well as my other one. So far it has held air now for well over a week. (I'm not confident enough though to put this through the washing machine and will hand wash if it gets dirty.) If this review helps in any way Positive or Negative Please hit HELPFUL!!! Pros: * Comes with choice of colors * Vendor tosses in eye shades to help with your sleep * nice travel sack * Holds air so far * Easily adjustable by lifting valve cap and tapping valve to let out air. * lite weight and packs small Cons: * Black stuff sack only unless attached to something can easily get lost and loose advantage of bright pillow with black sack when looking for deflated stored pillow. * Directions for pillow out of date and misleading as valve has changed, but directions have not. * Have feeling that to try to open valve to deflate may actually damage the valve and for that reason did not try. (Attaching picture clearly not same as pictures in advert, although Chillax pillow customer photo shows similar valve, still not same though.) * Because of valve change not as "easy" to deflate as directions say and show. I found that holding the valve pressed and just smushing entire pillow into small ball and later rolling while pressing valve gets most of the air out. I'm giving three stars as this is actually a 3.5 star pillow. Most important it holds air and is comfortable. However one star off for changing product and not directions. And rounding down as stuff sack should have same color as pillow. OOPS also I've found some information from other vendors that will help in use of a travel pillow camping. Use clean T-shirt as a pillow case, also take your stuff sack and clip it to your pillow using the loop to the cap covering the valve. Lastly... Yes I'd buy this pillow again. I'll update this review should something change with my pillow or this advert. Also the pillow is very comfortable, suggest only half inflating at first and see how that works for you. I purchased this pillow to provide lower back support while kayaking. The stock seat in my kayak is uncomfortable on long paddles so I needed a solution that was easy to inflate, comfortable, and compact in size when not in use. This pillow met all of these requirements. The pillow is the perfect shape for back support and is super easy to slide between myself and the seat. The comfort is unmatched, I am now able to paddle for many hours comfortably which allows me to make trips that were not possible prior to acquiring the WellaX pillow. I also use the pillow on camping trips as a headrest and back support in my camping chair. The pillow is small and lite enough to easily pack with my gear. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is active outdoors and needs a multi-use solution for quick, easy, and comfortable support. The pillow also comes with its own carry pouch, which is a big plus. The pouch keeps the pillow safe and compact for travel.

Ordered the ChillaX UltraLight Pillow for our son to go with his sleeping bag at Christmas. He loves it. It is portable, compact, and not just a pillow. He has used it as a backrest and in the car to sleep. The pillow is easy to deflate, easy to blow up, and comes with a nice bag to keep it compact. We are going to order another one for our other son and get one to keep in the glove compartment for our lower backs on the long travels. I am so glad we found this pillow. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because we have not had an issue with it so I don't feel I am able to rate their customer service. The product itself is 5 start worthy.

I have been using this pillow for over a year now and it has become one of my travel essentials. I bring it on flights to use as an all purpose cushion/pillow. Recently, I was dreading a 4 hour flight home because I had experienced some severe knee pain while sitting through a Broadway show and I was expecting more of the same. I partially filled this pillow, put it under my knee and I was able to fly home without any discomfort! I have also used it on international flights to provide back support, as a seat cushion, or as a traditional pillow. It fits easily into my purse and it folds back up when I am done with it and fits back into the pouch without any trouble. I recently took it camping and it worked as a regular pillow after I wrapped it inside my coat to provide some extra loft. The valve is good quality and I have never had any leaks. It has a soft finish on the outside and it doesn't squeak, rustle or crinkle which is important when you are using it as a pillow.

I ride a motorcycle with my wife as passenger. We like to camp when traveling and lightweight, compact and comfortable gear are important. I already have and use pillow's( that are a uniquely different design) from another name brand company that just aren't working out for either of us. I bought another set of pillow's (that are similar in design as the chillax) from another name brand company, but haven't had a chance to use them in the field yet. While looking at a review on some other gear the person commented highly on the chillax pillow comparing it to a similar but more expensive pillow. I did some more research then ordered 2 chillax pillows.They arrived "Amazon" fast to my house. I opened them up, inflated them and we did a side by side comparison to the other pillows. We both like them the best and will be keeping the chillax and returning the others. They are well designed, have a quality look and feel, very supportive, and a perfect size both inflated and packed up in their stuff bag. The eye mask is a nice bonus! My wife already uses one and thought that was pretty cool and nicely made as well.

It expands to 17x12x4 and only takes about 3 full breaths to fill. When packed the bag is approximately 4.5x2.5. The material of the pillow is soft and made out of TPU fabric. The bag is the exact same design and size as the OUTMORE. When packed in the bag, the pillow was tight and compact with little room to spare. I really liked the bag that it came with as it was slightly larger than the pillow when folded so it didn't feel like you were trying to stuff the pillow in the bag. When packed the bag is approximately 6.25x3. The material of the pillow is soft and made out of cotton. This pillow by far is the softest of the 4 seems to be well made. The bag is of good quality as well and includes a carabiner. If you're looking for lightweight to take on a backpacking trip, then I would recommend either the WELLAX, OUTMORE or the REEHUT. If you're trying to save money, then go with the REEHUT as it was half the price of all the others. If you're looking for a step up in pillow quality, then I would go with the Hikenture. Each pillow seemed to be reasonably priced, but time will tell how each actually hold up.

This little pillow blows up in 2-3 easy breaths and, more importantly, deflates completely in no time. I have not taken it camping yet, but I tried it at home and it offers great support and comfort. One of the nicest surprises for backpackers is that it is actually smaller (deflated) than it appears out of the box. Part of the bulk in the original packaging is a fairly thick eye mask. When removed, the pillow is smaller and there is ample room to easily get it into the stuff sack. The only negative I can think of is that the velcro fastener on the eye mask is a little too short, so in order to fasten it, I have to make it too tight to be comfortable, which defeats the purpose of the mask. I'm not taking any stars off though, as I definitely did not buy the pillow for the mask.

I bought the Wellax inflatable pillow to use backpacking, canoe camping, and car camping. I especially like the light weight and compact size when packed. I roll it inside my sleeping pad and don’t use its separate stuff sack. The surface texture is comfortable enough that I don’t put a cover on it. The curved design keeps in under my head unlike a previous pillow that would slide out from under me. When rolling over it makes minor crinkle sounds that don’t bother me or wake me up. It wasn’t hot or sweaty on an 81-degree night. I haven’t had it winter camping yet, but I expect the material to remain pliable. And convection coldness should not be a problem because it will be inside my sleeping bag. I am a side sleeper and I wish it were thicker so that my head didn’t angle down. The eyeshade that comes with it is darker and softer than my previous one. Considering the strap that goes across the back of the head: It would be nice if the “hook” material were smaller so that it didn’t catch on hair or bedclothes; and the “loop” material were longer to allow for more adjustability of head-band size.

The pillow looks oval in the image but it is more "fan" shaped but not so much so that they are unusable. They work well with the inflatable pads I bought at the same time. For the size - they pack small and will fit easily in a motorcycle side bag or exterior backpack pocket - they provide a lot of comfort that a balled-up sweatshirt does not The material is thin so I wouldn't risk using one to sit on though. And the accompanying eye mask - this is no dollar-store eye mask. It is quite good quality, form-fitted for a face and completely blocks out light. Overall definitely worth the money.

Product arrived quickly as expected. First impression when I opened the box was "wow, this thing is small" which is what I wanted. Comes in its own carry pouch, and is definitely smaller than a can of soda and very light. Once opened up, it only took 3 quick breathes to inflate it to a comfortable firmness for me. The release valve works flawlessly and makes it easy to get all the air out. And.....it was easy to get it back into the carry pouch, no messing around practicing origami trying to fold it just right. For the price I don't think you will find a better camp pillow anywhere. Ordering 2 more for our trip in May.

Awesome, light, small when deflated and nice to the touch. I really like this pillow and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable nights sleep. I have wide shoulders and I like to sleep on my side and this pillow is still high enough at the sides to support my head.

I used this inflatable pillow throughout the summer while working as a wildland firefighter. It's light and compacts into a very small area when deflated. Its comfortable for a camp pillow and also works for travelling. Additionally the pillow came with ear plugs and a good eye mask which helps falling asleep in less than ideal conditions.
