I was genuinely surprised by how well this grout cleaner worked. It removed years of built-up dirt and stains, making my grout look dramatically cleaner and brighter. The difference before and after was easy to see. The formula is powerful, so a little goes a long way. With some light scrubbing, it restored the appearance of my tile much better than other cleaners I've tried. If your grout has become discolored over time, this product is definitely worth trying. It delivers impressive results and made my floors look much newer without the need for expensive professional cleaning.

This is the best grout cleaners. It’s easy to use due to the spout and easy squeeze bottle. The scent is moderately mild but my son has asthma he can’t be around when I’m using it. Can’t say the value is great because one of the places I purchase it they have it for the same price. Another place I’ve purchased it had it for $5+. Due to the effectiveness of this product I’ll purchase it again. It arrived on time and the bottles (6) were sealed properly. Amazon could have put it in a sturdier box because the box was opened. I’ve been using this product for 4 years and I like the consistency and the brightness it restores to the grout.

So I bought the Zep Grout Cleaner and Brightener. Then I was looking at a YouTube video on how to apply it and they mentioned that they were not satisfied with the results and ended up painting the lines on. I really came close to doing it as I started researching buying some grout paint. Then I changed my mind because I did that 15 years ago and was not happy with the results later. So I proceeded to apply the Zep Grout Cleaner and waited 3 1/2 minutes before scrubbing a 2X2 foot area in my bathroom. It’s not the cleanest it’s ever been, but it’s the cleanest. It’s been in five years. Seven years ago, I removed all the grout and re-grouted the floor and sealed it. The sealant didn’t even last three weeks, before the floor started looking grimy, even after I cleaned it.I was very upset. I have used the peroxide paste before on the floor and the Zep definitely worked better, but because I saw a video today, where a guy was comparing Zep and peroxide for cleaning floors, I actually think the cleaning magic comes from the ITTAR Grout Brush with Long Adjustable Handle, Swivel Scrub Brush, V-Shape Grout Line Scrubber with Stiff Bristle. I actually thought it was just a regular hard fiber bristle brush, on a mop stick and that it was just going to prevent me from bending over. It isn’t a fiber brush; it actuality it is metal bristles with an angle to get deep in the crevice of the grout. Mind you my grout is not bright white and is not perfect, but I no longer feel like I am living with “Sanford and Son”. Definitely get chemical gloves and wear a mask. I splashed some of this on my toilet seat and it ate the paint off of it. Although the stained baseboard, I wiped within seconds after scrubbing, and there was no problem with that or the stain that’s on the bath cabinet. Before applying the Zep, I sprayed Goo Gone on the floor around the toilet and rinsed the floor with water, then let it dry. So the before and after pictures you see, has the first picture with kind of a clean floor, but with zero scrubbing. Then once it dried, I took a picture and then began cleaning with the Zep.

Arrived leaking even though top was taped. I hurriedly sat it in my laundry room sink and it discolored it I realized later. Why wasn’t this bagged? I can’t get the discoloration off. It says not to use on stainless but I didn’t have time to read the small print. I did clean the grout in the bathroom and it brighten it up but I was afraid it would do something to my tile the whole time I applied. I used a small toothbrush to apply to the grout and cleaned it off as instructed. I’m going to seal it and hopefully it will be good for a while. I’m going to do the other bathrooms and then discard this product. I don’t want anymore “accidents”. READ the instructions! It’s not a fast process to do a large bathroom.

After much investigation and searching online about products to clean the grout in my new home. I finally took a chance purchasing this Grout cleaner after seeing the reviews. When I tell you ladies this is a MUST HAVE!!!!! OMG, I will never buy another cleaner, I’ve told all the girlies in my group chat about it and how effective it is at getting up year old grease stains. Safe packaging away from my kiddos without spillage or leaving behind greasy residue.

This Zep Grout Cleaner and Brightener is hands down one of the most satisfying cleaning products I’ve ever used. I had grout that looked permanently stained with years of buildup that regular cleaners barely touched and this completely transformed it. You can actually see it working almost immediately. The deep cleaning formula cuts through old, set-in stains and restores the grout to a much brighter, like-new look with minimal scrubbing. I used it on both bathroom tile and kitchen floors, and the difference was night and day. Application is simple, just apply, let it sit for a few minutes, give it a light scrub, and rinse. That’s it. No complicated steps or excessive effort. A little goes a long way too, so the 32 oz bottle lasts longer than expected. If your grout is looking dingy and you’ve tried everything else, this is the product that actually delivers. It brought my floors back to life.

Although this does an excellent job of removing dirt from grout, there are few drawbacks on ceramic floor tile. The item is hard to pour out without getting it on the tile too, and I noticed it stripped the clear finish off the tile where it touched. I didn’t notice it right away, but a few days later, I noticed where the zip set on the tile it was dull and then in the middle of the tile it was shiny. It’s very difficult to apply this without getting some of it on the tile. Like others say the smell is awful. You definitely have to use it when it’s a cool dry day and you can open windows to get rid of the smell. It is an acid so you should protect your skin with gloves and have long pants on. I didn’t wear a face mask, but I did have my windows open and put the exhaust fan on in the kitchen while using this. I’m not sure if I’ll continue to use it only because it took the satin finish off the floor tile so now it has a dull and a shiny ear look on my tile. I guess I could put it on all the tile now and make it all dull finish so it’s even but I’m not sure if I want to do that yet,. I recommend this item with caution. It did make my grout look like it probably was brand new, but wasn’t happy that it told the ceramic tile where it touched. I don’t see how you can apply this and just get it on the grout only. That being said it does what it says. It does definitely removes all the dirt from your grout.

I don’t know how I made it so long without knowing about this product. Works great on grout. We have a 1950s bathroom that I don’t think had been cleaned since it was installed. This product along with a good quality grout scrubber made such a huge difference. I wish I had a before picture to post. It was super easy to use, did not leave streaks.

I never ever ever write reviews. But I ordered this because people were posting before and after pics and I couldn’t believe it. It was expensive. More than I really wanted to pay but figured if it sucked id return it. BUT OH MY GOD!!!! Don’t judge the gross dirty grout, just bought the house. I used an old toothbrush to get in between the tiles easily. This was superrrrr easy to use. I did my entire kitchen (100sq ft roughly) with half a bottle, but you see in the bottom section of the first picture that my grout was dark grey. And apparently it’s off white. I am beyond satisfied!
