Bailey and Connor see their CKT friends fitting in with the wrong crowd and making decisions that will harm them. A Season of Hope John Baxter takes the next step in his relationship with Elaine, giving him a season to contemplate selling the Baxter houseโand losing a lifetime of memories. Review: one of her finest books - I love the series of the batters but this one has been my absolute favorite so far. The way God was exalted in Sarahโs birth and death was beautiful. So heartbreaking too as I cried right along with them at her passing. Well done! Review: ANOTHER AWESOME STORY LINE - This book brought tears, laughter and lots of loving feelings. Everyone who reads these books have their own set of experiences to relate to. I have mine too. I truly loved the Ashley story. Her desire to have her baby for however long she had her was wonderful. I was so glad to see that Elaine won a place in her heart. I wanted to scream a few times over he Dayne and Katy story. She needed to have more confidence in her husband which she said at the end. I wanted them back together the way they belonged. I wondered when it was going to dawn on him to purchase the CKT building. I thought he'd do that in a previous book, but it all had to work out perfectly. I get that. I was thrilled to see that he put off his next movie and the type for a couple years. All in all, it was another wonderful book full of more spiritual awareness than I could take in. I love this series as I loved the Redemption one and the Firstborn one. I'm going to forever feel that the Baxters are close wonderful friends in my family. I just wish I'd stop dreaming about them and what I think should happen...LOL Thank you so much Karen for your books!

Someday
I have read all but Sunset. I'm reading it now. I can relate to the Baxter family. I lost my mother at an early age to a heart attack. I didn't know how I was going to make it but thanks be to God I did. Now that I'm reading these books they are bringing back so many memories of my mom. I'm crying one minute and laughing the next. Now I'm at a point in Sunset where John Baxter has put his house on the market for sale and all the memories he is having to deal with. Well I put my house on the market and I have begun thinking about all the memories my family and I have shared in it. I can so relate to the characters in these books. I'm so afraid because I love the books so much I don't want the Baxter Family to end. I know they will because Karen said so a couple of books ago. She did say she would keep us in touch with them every now and than, I hope so because I truly love that family. I love these books. What more can I say, I just love them. Thanks Karen Kingsbury for writing so wonderful books and letting your God given talent shine, with God's help you did an awesome job. May God continue to bless you with your writing of good Christian books. God bless you and your family.

Sunrise Book #3
Karen Kingsbury has done her usual exceptionally awesome job of writing with this book. She manages to spin a story line that keeps the reader on the edge of his/her seat for awhile, then that resolves itself. I am looking forward to her next book to find what happens to one couple who seemed to be left hanging in this book. I'll be the first in line to buy Sunset! I just can't say enough about how much I enjoy Karen's books and the new perspectives they have given me on some controversial issues. They have also helped me to have a breater insight into the trials and failures Christians face and how God can use these situations for His glory. Everyone should read this book (and the other books in this series. Personally, I think everyone should read ALL of Karen's books, but I AM a little biased, as she is my favorite author!

Expectation met!
As usual, Karen has met every expectation I had for her latest book in the Sunrise Series. I feel I know the Baxter family so well and their experiences touch so many areas of my own life. The only problem is, I have to wait so long for the next installment. Being a senior, John and Elaine's relationship is much more understandable, than it could be for my daughter, who reads each book, as soon as I finish it. But her experiences with infertility, adoption, and a special needs child are all realistically addressed. The way Karen portrays Katy & Dayne's struggle with the paparazzi has confirmed my view of the tabloids at the grocery checkout. I shudder at the exploitation of so many stars and wouldn't spend a dime to read any of them.

All the series
The family Baxter series will leave draw you in like never before. You will become apart of this family and live alongside them, eat with them, weep with them, rejoice with them. Karen Kingsbury has a unique way of telling a story, its a Christian novel as all her novels are, but its not 'preachy'. I've since read a lot of her books and found them based around real life. Quote thought provoking in many places and stays with you long after you have finished reading them.

Someday by Karen Kingsbury
All the books in this series are amazing. There are so many scripture references in it and I loved that. I also love that Karen Kingsbury incorporates real life stories into the storylines.
