Great Power Supply at a great price!
After having a new MSI ATX3.1 power supply blow and take out have my components I decided to try this Red Dragon power supply and I have to say I am beyond impressed. The build quality is excellent and at first I thought the ARGB fan was just a gimmick, but it comes through on the back of my daughters Lian Li 011D case and looks awesome. Also Red Dragon includes a power supply tester and MSI does not, which would have been nice to have. The cables are not the highest quality I have ever seen, they are good and work just fine though. Overall this power supply compares very well to my Corsair RM1000x. While the Corsair has better cables, both power supplies generally are very close on all other features. Both use Japanese CAPs, both are quiet and considering the Red Dragon power supply was considerably cheaper I would have to lean towards the Red Dragon if I ever need another power supply. Really, you can't go wrong with this power supply.

Great product
Great PSU. Have had it in my rig a while now and had no issues with it

Quiet and fully modular
Zero RPM mode keeps it silent at idle and I have not heard the fan under normal gaming load. Cable lengths were long enough for a mid tower and the 12V-2x6 cable came included. The compact 160mm body left room for airflow.

Steal of a Deal
Works as it should, and easily rivals any of the top tier companies products. Can't even hear it, the power supply is dead silent! Huge plus! More people have been and continue to check out their entire line of products, as this brand has been gaining more and more attention over the years. I highly recommend not just this power supply unit, but any of their offerings due to price & performance. When it comes to a power supply you I would never cheap out and I've always recommended and purchased ONLY solid, well known and thoroughly researched power supply units. With that said, however, I've watched this company rise from nothing & can say for certainty that I have no worry or fear that this will short out or mess up my $3000+ dollar pc gaming build. It provides solid & consistent power, plenty of it too, to all of my internal components. The RGB lighting looks stellar, and is a nice bonus to top it all off.

Works just fine
I think it was a good value for the money, unfortunately there are not enough sata connections and it does have colored light which I thought would be interesting, but unfortunately they do absolutely nothing in my alienware case, seeing as how the lights are pointed at the bottom of the case and because of the connection wires being so short I can't flip it to point up.

Exactly as expected. No frills and very stable.
So far so good. I see reviews that things haven't gone well but I'm running a b650 with a 7800x3d, and 4070 TI without issue so far. No power issues no shut downs. No wine from anything. Pretty happy with my purchase. Cables were hard to press in to places they should go on the power supply. Perfectly fine with me since everything seats and doesn't appear to want to come out. RGB is basic but adds some color to the depths of my case with multiple modes and colors My power supply included a 12v high power cable, so check what supply the reviews you read are for. Might be for one that doesn't include one. I expected not to receive one based on reviews

Failed Under Gaming Loads – Poor 12V Rail and Flawed Daisy-Chain PCIe Cable
I bought this PSU back in October 2024 for my first PC build. I was running a Ryzen 7 5700X, 32GB of RAM, and an RX 6800. On paper, a fully modular, high-wattage Gold unit with solid user reviews seemed like a great deal, so I went for it. For a while, everything seemed fine during light use. However, once I started playing more demanding games, problems began. A little while into a gaming session, my screen would suddenly go pitch black. The PC would hang in this weird state where the RAM RGB stayed lit, but the case power button was completely unresponsive. The only way to recover was to flip the physical master switch on the back of the PSU off and on again. At first, I assumed it was just a bug with a specific game, but it eventually started happening across multiple titles. One day, the unit completely gave out. Instead of crashing after a prolonged session, the system black-screened the exact second I tried loading into my first match. I tried rebooting and loading in again, and it immediately crashed a second time. I stopped using the system to protect my components and started diagnosing the issue with a multimeter. Sure enough, the 12V rail in the PSU had severely degraded and failed under load. I replaced this unit with a reputable name-brand power supply, and the difference was night and day. Not only did the crashes and black screens completely disappear, but the system actually felt snappier and games ran noticeably smoother. It turns out this PSU had been starving my components the entire time for two main reasons: 1. Poor Voltage Regulation: The unit simply wasn't delivering clean, stable voltage to handle standard transient power spikes. 2. Daisy-Chained PCIe Cable: The power supply only provided a single daisy-chain PCIe cable (one cable splitting into two 8-pin connectors at the end) rather than two dedicated, independent cables. While a pigtail cable might be fine for a low-power budget card, an RX 6800 draws around 250W under load. Forcing that much current through a single run of wire caused massive voltage droop and heat buildup at the connector pins, forcing my GPU to throttle down to prevent arithmetic crashes. If you are running a modern gaming setup with a dedicated 200W+ graphics card, avoid this unit. Save yourself weeks of frustrating troubleshooting and buy a reputable power supply that actually supplies dedicated cables and stable 12V power.

It works, and is pretty.
It works fine, fit perfectly with what I bought it for. I just wanted a good power supply and the RGB is a bonus, I’m happy I did because with the case I got it for, it shows off the LED really well. Ignore the Power LED flashing I must’ve not seated the cable for that all the way.

Good for the price!
This product is exactly as advertised. I'm a relatively new user and so I am using this to power up ryzen 9 CPU type and it does the job well. So far no complaints, all is well!

I love this power supply and customer service is the best!
I love this power supply. Fit in my ATX case was perfect. It will handle 850 watts of demand and the modular design makes cable-swaps very easy. It is also super quiet. The LEDs make it look pretty cool as well. I had a need to contact customer service and they responded immediately and provided a quick solution. Definitely worth the cost.
