Rohto Dry Aid Lubricant Eye Drops 0.34 fl oz

I have loved Rhoto since it was introduced to me over 10 years ago by a friend who purchased and brought back from Japan. And I was so happy to find it on Amazon after I used up the bottle that was gifted to me. I went from the Regular (green) to Max (red) to Ice (blue) because I loved the increasing level of cooling menthol sensation intensity. Now that my eyes are older and post LASIK and I spend 9-5 in fron of two computer screens all day, they are that much dryer and more tired, too. I find that the green, red, and blue Rhoto to not be moisturizing enough and the menthol sensation to be a bit too intense at times. Though I still loved the redness relief. I saw this purple option and decided to give it a try. I LOVE IT. It leaves my eyes feeling lubriated and when I blink, my lids glides super smoothly. There is still just a slight hint of menthol...only enough to give my eyes a whisper of coolness. There is no intensity to it at all. The purple also removes the redness from my eyes making them brighter and making me look more refreshed and less tired. Just all around perfect. I keep one by in my make up bag, at my desk, and just about everythere else. I added this item to my Amazon Subscribe and Save and cancelled my subscriptions for my old Rhoto eye drops. Love the new PURPLE Rhoto.

I normally buy Refresh Tears because my eyes respond well to the carboxymethylcellulose that is the active ingredient in this product. I have tried the other major brands to see if their active ingredient would work as well and found that they didn't. This item, Rohto, has a different active ingredient - povidine - that I had not yet tried. I received my order of Rohto today and have used it twice. I should say I have extreme dry eye issues. Refresh works well, soothing and cooling my eyes when irritated. The Rohto does sooth and cool my eyes, but it also tingled just a bit when first adding a drop to my eyes. Not a bad thing, just different. Not sure why it does that, but in the end, it's just all about how my eyes feel and so far the Rohto is working fine. Not better or even worse than Refresh, but similarly. Systane never has worked well to keep my eyes comfortable, so finding another product that does is a good thing for me. Hopefully it will work well for others too... After alternating between these drops and my Refresh drops, I have to admit that I still prefer Refresh over these. The Rohto drops sting for just a second when I put them in my eyes and they don't seem to give comfortable relief for as long as the Refresh drops give me. Having tried all the dry eye drops and comparing their main ingredients, the ones that work best for me (which may be different for others) have a main, active ingredient of carboxymethylcellulose. Rohto's povidine works, but for my eyes, just not as well. Because our chemical make-up has minute differences (such as being able to tolerate fiery hot foods or lactose intolerance in dairy products to name two), there is a chance povidine would be the best choice for someone else. Best to do your own testing to find out if this one is "the" one for you!

I really like this made my try eyes from working on the computer.Feel much better right away. I Dropped a star off since they don't come in gel form , which i like better, as regular eye drops run down your face, with much wasted product. But these are great otherwise , and we're soothing , and what purchase them again. They should really make gel drops though , and then they would get my five star vote for sure!

I have dry eye due to autoimmune disease and have tried a number of drops including prescription brands. I have used Rotho brands and have been pleased with the cooling and whitening drops, I have seasonal allergies and used the cooling until I found Dry Aid Lubricant Eye Drops. They are soothing, cooing and they don’t make my eyes blurry as do many do. It may take a few uses to get used to them, but I love this brand now.

All the eye drops my eye doctor recommended did not fix my irritated eye. These drops stopped the dryness & relaxed my eyes. I believe the highly recommended eye drops were making my issue worse. My friends & family have found these drops beneficial as well.

Best moisturizing eye drops. I've tried many brands over the years but these work well immediately and are long lasting. I have never noticed any eye irritation or problems while using.

My eyes are pretty dry. I had high hopes that these drops would make a big difference but they didn’t do much for me. Some relief. I was disappointed. They are a nice compact size. Easy to use.

Menthol sensation 👌. Leave in the fridge for best results.
