There is a learning curve for using this, using a 6 ft hose - I put the ring side in first until it came out on the other side and then tried pulling on the ring , the brush then got completely stuck inside the hoseI figured out that if I hold the hose right where the brush has landed and then work the hose in an up and down motion (kind of scrunching the hose together - like a spring -GENTLY) , this allowed the brush to slip through and clean the inner hose - you must be very gentle, I do it at least twice and then rinse the hose until the water runs clear, hose seems a lot cleaner after using the brushes

the long brush works VERY well ! i bought the set primarily for it, but quickly learned to LOVE the little guys, too !

This is essential if you want to keep your CPAP hose clean. The brush is long enough to pull through the hose. It is messy so you want to clean at the sink. They also add two 6" bottle brushes you can use for your mask. Good value and very helpful.
