Well, finally somebody came up with a great idea for mounting some backup lights on something solid! I am kind of done with my backup lights bouncing around on the underside of my bumper. On my Chevy truck, there is just too much flex. Not to mention, where the 1/2" holes are in the bumper - pre-drilled by Chevy - it mounts the lights pretty much dead centre to the rear tires. Talk about stones, mud, gravel, etc, etc, beating the bejabers out of those lights. This idea is great! The aluminum is not going to rust like every other component on the underside of my Chevy. This mounts beautifully over the rear hitch, and bolts up tight. Then, you can mount what ever you like - so long as it fits! I just went to a package of six LED's (stacked two up) on each side, in a nice, compact light. Waterproof and mounted with stainless steel fasteners, it should outlast the truck! I purchase mine through the Amazon Warehouse Deals, so because there was some damage (are you kidding? Two or three tiny scratches you can't even see!) the price was near 1/2 the regular. I found that to be amazing! No, I have not hooked them up yet. I will need to run some wires, add a relay and a fuse and a cabin switch. While that's not too bad, I will wait for warmer weather before I spend a few hours on my back under the truck. I really like the idea of this product. Well thought out. Looking at the product, it is well made and made with the right kind of material - aluminum. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to add some backup lighting, and to protect those lights from all the road materials the tires through up. Paid for by me. Thank you.

Heavy duty indeed! This hitch feels rock solid and quite heavy which is what you want. The chrome ball mount is beautifully finished and looks awesome, I feel bad hooking it up to a trailer and getting it beaten up this chrome finish looks so good! The black powder finish is made really well and feels like it should resists scratching very well. Overall look and feel this is a premium product, definitely should use the hitch lock with it if you dont want to come back to an empty hole in your receiver!

I love this bracket! I have mounted some reverse lights and it works a treat. I highly recommend this for that purpose

Be prepared to lower the hitch and cut the bracket to accommodate the safety chain slots to get this on. My truck anyway, Sorry no pics . Quality of the bracket itself is very good. My guess is hitches and applications are different so fitment will vary.
