My 8 year old, 80 lb dog developed a nasty elbow hygroma. As big as half a hen's egg, ulcerating, bleeding. Worse, she refused to get in the car to go to the vet. I tried many bandaging techniques. She'd pull them off and eat them. Not good. Finally I discovered (1) liquid bandage, and (2) this protector pad. She no longer can pull off the bandages and also has a thick layer of padding over the wound. After 2 or 3 days, her elbow looks MUCH better. The first time you open up the brace, it looks a little like an origami puzzle. After you put it on once or twice it's pretty easy. Much better, too, than a Cone of Shame because it not only prevents your dog from pulling at the bandage, it also provides padding. Whether this model is any better or worse than the competition, I can't say but am very pleased to have found it.

Our 10 year old Golden Retriever had a large lump on her front right leg at the elbow. After surgery, we were relieved to find out it was not cancer but a Hygroma. I had looked at the NeoAlly Elbow Brace as an alternative to the Cone and it turned out to be a perfect buy. Our dog tried to use its hind leg to scratch the wound (quickly caught and stopped) which the Cone would not stop. Using the Elbow brace worked perfectly; it protected the wound (gauze underneath to prevent rubbing), stayed in place and she quickly got used to it. Contrary to some reviews, if handled carefully it has held together for 3 weeks of off and on several times a day and is still like new. Highly recommended.

Overall I feel this is a good product. It's priced a bit higher than other comparable models, but I guess they make for it in customer service. I had one for just over a month and the strap that connects the 2 legs together (on their chest) started to come apart. I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately replaced it. The straps the go over their legs/elbow is padded nicely and the velcro straps give you plenty of adjustment so that your dogs comfortable. I do wish the velcro strap that overs over their back was slightly longer, but it still works. My dog is happy to wear it for long periods of time and is still able to run and play like normal.

My pup has been having shoulder issues off and on for the last couple of years as he's gotten older. He also had a nasty sore on his elbow from laying on hard wood and tile floors which has continually gotten bigger. He's been wearing the brace off and on for the last few months and there is hair starting to grow again on his elbows which is great! He also hasn't had any limping or shoulder issues since he's been wearing it. very happy i made the purchase for him to ease his pain and discomfort with his elbows. If your dog has elbow sores or shoulder issues this is a great brace for them!

I bought these fir my large German Shepherd to protect his elbows and try to heal the continued trauma to his elbows. Well... easy enough to put on. No padding at the elbow. Holds moisture and caused his elbows to swell and now they are much worse. Very expensive lesson here. We will be making a trip to the vet as a result of this product. May be ok as a preventative, however, if there is an existing elbow issue this is nit the product you need. Sure wish I could find something to help my pup.

My dog had an issue with callouses on her elbows that started to bleed. Vet advised me to keep clean, add ointment, and make sure my dog didn’t lick. Well, getting my dog to stopped licking proved to be an issue so I researched and found this product. It stopped her from licking and also added some padding to her elbows . She is healing well and due to the product’s adjustability she can wear with total comfort day and even nighttime!

So impressed with this set up for our Lab's elbows! She gets calluses which will bust open if not padded. The result of the hygroma bursting leaves behind a crime scene. Took a chance and got these after using old socks and thinner products. They are lightweight and very adjustable. They have really been a great improvement in managing her problem.

Purchased this on behalf of a friend. His dog had very bad calluses on his front legs and his Vetinarium suggested this brand and model for his dog, His dog's front legs are almost healed now and he's thrilled. The dog wears it during the day and it comes off at night. Highly recommend.

The very best elbow brace for our Maggie!! She has Elbow Displasia on both elbow’s..between her first four Cartrophen injections, hip, elbow and joint supplements and the elbow brace Maggie is now taking our walks up in the Pine trails ( shorter walks now ) and enjoying life💖!! The brace is wonderful and fits comfortably securing both her elbows and the back brace, keeping the braces intact from slipping. This brace is so easy to adjust and put on and the velcro really helps when putting it on Maggie because she likes to wiggle all over when we are getting our girls ready for there walks😁!! She and her sister Mollie are six years of age and Rottie/lab mix so we purchased the large size..easy adjustable!! Thank you for giving Maggie this wonderful addition to getting her back to enjoying life again🐶💖🐶!!!

the product seems to be really well made, decent stitching and quality materials. no loose threads or poorly cut edges. the large fits my american bully perfectly and it's actually easy to put on
