Solid briefcase, well made and good looking too. Has a lot going for it...like sturdy construction, well designed, and great price point.Got as a replacement for a well worn and tattered metal briefcase. Hoping it would measure up to the old one, this is even better.Haven't abused it yet, so no comment on longevity, but judging by its looks, this should last a long time too.

I bought this aluminum briefcase to carry my Chromebook and all of work items. Hopefully, it will not be hacked. It has locks on each side of the handle for extra security. It's padded on the inside, has a strap on one side to hold your laptop in place and the other side has pockets and folders, all built in, for your work items. It's not as heavy as I thought it might be and it is worth the price I paid for it. I recommend this item.

I absolutely love the way this attache/case looks!It has the whole "Is there a million dollars in there?" style, while providing padded support for your laptop. The attache has one velcro strap and side cushions that lock the computer in place. Atop the case are pockets perfect for holding your mouse and charging cords.With that being said, the combination locks did get stuck in place. I had to break into the attache by prying it open with a hammer. The aluminum bent rather easily; at $80 per case, I expected it to be harder to get into. Getting a replacement was effortless -- and the replacement arrived before they even got the old one back -- so major kudos for customer service.I have not had an issue with the replacement case and it works perfectly.4 stars. I would still recommend Alpine Swiss.

I am a Real Estate Agent so presentation and functionality is a priority. I will start with the interior and work my way to the outside, then touch on the delivery. Being that I need a mobile command center; this suitcase is perfect. It has space for my files, business cards, and padded room for my laptop. My disappointment with this unit would be the lack of close attention to detail on the edging and corners. I also would love to have seen locking hinges like the leather cousin made by Alpine Swiss. As some other reviewers pointed out; they did a poor job in this department.The exterior also had its' flaws for example the locks, they are a joke!. The are not aligned with the top and bottom of the case and are very flimsy. Aluminum reinforcements are also dented at the rivets which gives it a cheap feel. The ends are made of plastic where the aluminum meets; that doesn't make sense unless it is being done to keep the weight down .Shipping was hideous. it was packed in a thin boxing material (like a box of cereal) and slapped on a label. As others also reported in reviews dents and scuffs; well now you you why. A bag of bubble wrapping material would have made sense and prevent shipping issues. I will be posting pictures of how my product looked before and after unboxing. In conclusion, if you are looking for the bare minimal in terms of quality and don't want to spend $10 more for the leather version of this product; this is for you. To be fair, I am a loyal fan of Alpine Swiss but they dropped the ball on this one!
