I got the base 256GB 8GB of ram model and this thing does everything I need it to and more. I consider myself fairly tech savvy, so when I heard all the controversy surrounding this model and its slower SSD, I was a little hesitant. After realizing what I wanted to do with the computer, this become a non-factor. I mostly do school (computer science) a little bit of rendering for my 3d printer and some very light gaming. The SSD has never been an issue in my day to day. If you are editing photos or access large files that will need to be read or written to often, maybe go to the 512GB model to get the faster SSD. If you are not working in CAD or video/photo editing all the time you will not care I promise. The rest of this machine has astounded me. 18 hours of battery life is not just marketing, the speed of the M2 is snappy and can handle much more than I thought it would. The new screen is gorgeous. Trackpad is the best on the market bar none. The keyboard is the best keyboard I have ever felt on a laptop and is an absolute joy to type on. MagSafe is back and amazing as before. Probably my favorite thing about this laptop, coming from a Windows gaming laptop is the lack of a fan. You will lose a little performance, but not having that noise is absolutely astounding. Cannot recommend this thing enough. Great job Apple.

Bought this to replace my old MacBook Pro and it's wonderful.

Laptop Quality is amazing! This is why I love Apple! You can use for 5-10 years, and the computer still works great! But I won't order apple products on Amazon again, because it ended up being stolen. I would recommend buying in-store like Costco, which was what I did after trying to purchase it on Amazon.

I love the size & weight of this laptop. I personally use it for photography editing. Has a great display for images. Amazing quality. The battery life is impressive and I love how easy to use it is.

As with most Apple products, the 2022 Macbook Air M2 laptop is an awesome device. High quality build and works perfectly.

Surprise, MacBook Air can’t write to my external hard drive, I was told by Apple tech the only way to fix it is to format my 4TB external hard drive with years of data! I can’t deal with Apple return directly because it is purchased on Amazon, a third party vendor. Since I just discovered the issue which is already over 30 days of purchase I don’t have the return option with Amazon either.
