I was really excited about this product after the reviews. I think that it is a great idea and I was looking forward to a "Clean" protein option. However, the unflavored powder does have a very weird/cardboard flavor and smell. It clumped worse than I could have imagined. I am not too good with textures that are clumpy; like curdled milk, so I could not tolerate the drink. I tried it in several different liquids as well as several different temperatures.....it was always clumpy and never fully dissolved...a little pricey for that outcome. Maybe a different flavor would give a different result, but I will not be spending the money to find out. I love the idea of it though, hopefully others have had a better outcome.

I absolutely love this protein powder and have it at least once a day. I used to buy Active Stacks but switched to this because it's just as good and a little more cost effective. I also like that Equip has an unflavored and unsweetened version so I can control how much of which sweetener I use. I use the unflavored beef protein in my Acai bowls. I blend dairy free milk with frozen mixed berries, acai powder, and this protein powder until it's a thick smoothie. I top with tahini, cocoa nibs, and diced kiwi. It's amazing, clean, gut friendly, and packed with protein, fiber, and nutrients. I have a very sensitive gut and can't handle whey or a lot of ingredients in most protein powders. This is highly digestible, high quality protein. I like to store it in an oxo pop container (1.75 qt holds a whole bag). It makes it easier to scoop and use. I also use the unflavored protein powder with my own raw cacao powder and stevia or dates to make my own chocolate flavor. This protein powder has a distinct flavor but it is NOT beef flavored. It's a very neutral protein that pairs well with fruit or chocolate or whatever you mix it with. You will need to use a blender, though. A shaker bottle can't mix it without clumps.

Incredible protein powder! I am very picky with protein powders, generally sticking to the ones made with clean and simple I ingredients like chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, and pea protein. I found this one on AI actually, after a recommendation based on all my health challenges. I was skeptical due to a strong beef sensitivity I have from severe endometriosis, but after having taken a few scoops, I can gladly report I have no reaction. This is a huge deal and a big win for me! There is no taste and it mixes well into my coffee with a few clumps that occur, as the package describes would happen. It is creamy and truly tasteless. I highly recommend!

Looks like it checks all the nutrition boxes, grass fed, no unnecessary additives, so its clean. I mix it with wheat grass, collagen & a few other things and it's the only one that doesnt mix well, little clumps but its not a smoothie I am making, its a quick, down the hatch drink for the nutrition not for the taste so there's that. So not sure how well this would mix in a smoothie but for me it's ok.

High Quality,,, no digestion upset and I love that it is sweetened with stevia. Great for blood sugar regulation and getting enough protein in my diet. Huge fan of this product.

I ordered the unflavored pack so I can enjoy adding my own delicious recipes. It’s so good, so tasty, it need little care while mixing but if you know how to do it it will be easy even if I have little clumps it’s easy to get rid of it by the frother , I tried it with different shakes, with hot cocoa drink, with berries, and with baked cookies . All the time I was happy with the texture and the flavor. My stomach never bothered, the quality is great, it’s my first experience with protein shakes but I think the size is good for the price. It’s thirty servings about two dollars the serve which is convenient compared to the prices nowadays. I already ordered my second pack.
