This passes "unplug/replug UPS - computer stays on test" - where a CyberPower failed.
I bought this UPS to go with a mini PC I have. The PC doesn't have a battery. As a test, I unplugged the UPS, and the PC stayed on. I plugged the UPS back in, and the PC kept running as expected. I initially bought a CyberPower CP850PFCLCD 850VA Sinewave UPS. My PC would would turn off when I plugged the PC back in during this test, and it was repeatable. The monitor stayed on, with no visible power cycling. I got a refund on the CyberPower - as the point of a UPS is for your computer to stay on during an outage (!!!). I initially chose the CyberPower for the sine wave, easily replaced battery, and digital display. This is a line interactive step-approximated sine wave system. The manual says the transfer to battery delay on outage is "6ms typical, 10ms max." The manual says the stepped sine wave is appropriate for computers and peripherals and "is not intended for motor driven equipment," and the input power may be rejected (no mention of any associated hazard). This is fine with me. I actually prefer (a lot) the simple operation of this unit compared to the CyberPower. I don't need all those extra settings the CyberPower has, which I realized when I stepped through them at installation. With the APC, you just charge it for 10 hours, and then plug it in and go. The APC is also smaller (6 3/4" tall vs. 9 1/2"). The APC has a voltage sensitivity setting (low/default) for noisy (voltage range) input voltage, for use with equipment not sensitive to this fluctuation, to avoid switch overs to battery, which shortens battery life. I left it on default, and there have been no switch overs. When I unplug the UPS (power outage) there are initial warning beeps, followed by 4 beeps every 30 seconds. You can mute those beeps with a short press of the power button, and you won't get more beeps until the battery level gets critical. The beeps aren't too loud, and I'll probably leave them going during an outage. There is optional software to control the UPS, which I haven't tested and don't need.

Works well
This is our 3rd APC battery backup. The first two were used for PC's. This one backs up our house alarm system, wifi router, and cable modem because we have so many short power outages by PG&E. No problems and I expect several years of use before the battery will need to be replaced.

Works great - beeping is super annoying
I have two of these in my house, neither are connected directly to a computer. The constant 3 beeps when there's a power outage ever few minutes is super annoying and no way to turn it off. However, it does work as expected. Allowed me to power down my PS5 and computer/equipment safely. I haven't let the backup battery run its course (read: the constant beeping), I turn the unit off once everything's powered down.

Easy to install, uses standard battery
I have used other members of the Back-UPS family. I note that this unit uses a single battery of the same type as other Back-UPS units, albeit in greater quantity. For example, the Back-UPS 1500 uses a pair of these batteries, and the Back-UPS external battery pack contains four such batteries. Installation was straightforward. I plugged in a single computer and monitor. Runtime was initially estimated to be 12 minutes, battery capacity at 40%. I was unable to initiate a self-test from the computer. I then unplugged the UPS, allowing it to run on battery power for 25 seconds, plugged it back in, and was then able to initiate the self-test from the computer. Battery installation date was listed as last March, so I updated the date to today's date, beginning the 3-year service period as of now. The CD shipped with the unit contains a newer version of Power-Chute than I have previously used, and also indicated there are updates available, which I did not install at this time. The battery now indicates 100% charged and a 24 minute estimated runtime. I'm assuming this may change over time as the battery becomes temperature stabilized and properly conditioned. I had bought extra batteries for my other Back-UPS units and am pleased to know they will fit this unit as well.

Bought this for my PC, it has a Ryzen 9 7900x and an Nvidia 4080. This is enough power to allow for the pc to be shutdown properly in the event of a power outage. What its really great for is "cleaning" the power that comes into the PC. I'm in an old building with old wiring in a city, the power moves around a bit, every couple of days I'll hear the UPS click off and on, especially in the summer when all the AC's are going. That's not good for the PC so the UPS really helps in that regard as well. Simple setup, wish the cord was a bit longer but that's pretty much my only issues with it. You can get the personal version of the Powechute software to configure it off their website.

These work great. Have installed ~10 in an area that suffers frequent power outages and haven't had any issues.
