I have a nearly 14 year old, playing middle school football. He plays both sides of the ball and is involved in nearly every play of the game, so the need for extra protection against concussions is crucial. He was coming up against a team that has a bad reputation (we’ll just leave it at that), and we really wanted to make sure this extra protection was in before that game. There was a delay on behalf of UPS, and UPS customer service was not able to help me, so I reached out to the seller. They were absolutely phenomenal and shipped out a replacement to be delivered by noon the next day, to ensure that he had this in his helmet before the game. Most companies take weeks to respond these days, and could care less about the customer service side of their business… this couldn’t be further from the truth for this company. I will be forever, grateful for them, going above and beyond, and cannot recommend them enough! As far as the product specifically, I cannot review its long-term effects yet. I will say that the instructions were easy, and it could be cut to fit his helmet perfectly. For the thicker black pad, which is 1/4” I can see that you would need to size up in the helmet, as this would not work for him at all. The thinner option they sent worked. Next season we will likely have him size up to accommodate the thicker Gyro pad and reap the full benefits! Thank you again for going above and beyond for our boy!

My son said it made his helmet not fit well. He ended up not using it during the season. It was thick and seemed to be a good quality, but he didn't like the fit.

Not sure how people were having trouble fitting this in a youth helmet. My son had a very small helmet for a 5 year old. His head was to small for the smallest helmet and this worked perfectly for his fitment issues. They even sent an extra 1st Gen one incase the 2nd Gen one didn't fit.

Worked as intended, raised his helmet to a much more comfortable position. This was a good buy. Theybevent sent out Gen1 at no charge just in case it didn't fit.

Excellent piece of football helmet equipment, should be standard issue for all high schools and colleges!!! 👍

IT WILL FIT ANY HELMET BUT WHEN YOU TAKE THE HELMET OFF IT WILL COME OFF TOO, I HAD TO USE VELCRO AND GLUE IT TO THE LINER AND THEN GLUE THE VELCRO TO THE HELMET PADDING SO IT WILL NOT COME OFF.
